Shawe was in Engineering thinking about what the captain had asked for his request. He wondered if there was a way to make a setting with the phaser that mimicked the effets of the device, rather than reinvent everything. His first stop in that case was probably going to be the security chief, and him explaining why he would need one. After all, the booth was a joint effort between an Engineer and Security officer already. So he made his way to the Security office, to see who the captain had put in charge here.

OOC: There’s been a change around the Marines are now in charge of security. So my Character will be the COS and the MACO CO.

IC: Just as Shawe reached the COS office Abi came from the other direction. she wore the standard MACO uniform. The MACO uniform was unique in the fact that there was no male and female variant it was the same for all genders. An Urban camo combat jacket, a black or dark brown under shirt, Urban camo combat trousers and black boots. Abi’s side arm was ins holster on the right side of her belt and her knife was on the left. “That won’t do you much good.” she said coldly. “The COS has been replaced. With me and my marines. If you want to talk about a security matter you’ll talk to me” she added her tone unwavering and her hand resting on her sidearm.

The man that stood outside the office had bad radiation burns that covered most of the right side of his face, down his face and nose and neck. He was about 5’ 10’’ in height and had a rather athletic build, but his arms were quite muscular from his time as an Engineer “That’s fine. I just need a phaser. One that you don’t mind being taken apart,” he added. “Shawe, Chief Engineer, by the way,” he said.

“Marine Captain Abigail Graham officer commanding marines onboard this vessel.” she said introducing herself “If you need a pahser why don’t you use yours? Unless what you’re planning might backfire. What exactly are you planning to do with a phaser?” she asked stepping closer.

“Working on something the captain has asked me to, making something that can deliver the same sort of result as an agonizer booth, but handheld. Basically make the booth portable, and I was thinking of altering a phaser to see if it was possible to make it have a similar effect by working with the insides of it. So I’m going to be tearing the thing apart. Still want me to use mine so I’m coming to you for a new phaser, and bothering you again, Captain?” the engineer asked.
