TJ led Tayanna out to the dance floor. He wasn’t sure what or who she was looking for at the moment. But, he didn’t really care at this point. “You good?”

Rivers Ops

She smiled up at him “I am now” she said as she swayed in his arms to the beat of the music. She hadn’t felt this happy in a long time. It was a feeling she could get used to.

Tayanna

Mia continued to work behind the bar waiting on guests, cutting a few off that had had enough. It was a typical night at the Blue Note

Mia

Mia walked into the back room and got several new bottles of liquor. She came back and put them on the shelves behind the bar and turned back as Avalon 5 moved onto their next set.

Mia

TJ smiled back. He moved his hand down her back. “If I go farther; someone might get mad. Probably not you.”

Mia watched the floor for a moment and turned to Beth “Check with Mick and see if he needs anything from cold storage. We’ve been having a lot of orders for fries and fried cheesesticks.” She said as she wiped down the empty space at the bar and took a couple more drink orders.

Mia

“No I wouldn’t mind” she said as she pulled TJ a little bit closer to her. It had been almost a year since she had let loose like this and she was staring to wonder if she should make it a bit more permanent.

Tayanna

That was all the invitation TJ needed. He moved his hands around her waist. He continued to remove the space between them pulling her even close. She was captivating. TJ was starting to enjoy the moment he was sharing with her.

Rivers Ops.

Tayanna placed her head on TJ’s shoulder and continued to move to the beat of the music. It wouldn’t be long till she would have to give up this happiness and move on.

TJ could feel her breath on his shoulder. He moved his right hand and ran it through her hair. “Beautiful, you are. I could see away from here in one of our beds.”

Mia watched as Beth brought some cold foods up from the cold storage and take it into the kitchen. Mia turned her attention back to the patrons in front of her, passing several drinks across the bar and watched as things kept moving along.

Mia

She pulled away from TJ for just a moment thinking about his offer. Her cheeks wore a pale shade red and her heart beat had quickened considerably. If it hadn’t been for her brother being so close she would have taken him up on his offer right away. She leaned into him “your place sounds nice”

Raylee stood at the entrance to the the bar and watched his sister. How she could do this to him was beyond him. He took a deep breath and let it out, and repeated the action. Anger washed over him as he stood there.

He watched her. He took her hand. “Ready to go? I’ll lead the way.”

Mia stood behind the bar and watched the floor where everyone was dancing. She glanced at the clock on the back wall. It had been a busy evening, for which she was glad, but she was tired and wanted to head to bed soon. She wiped down the counter in front of her and then moved to take another drink order from a officer that had come up to the bar.

Mia watched as things started to wind down for the evening. Theere were still a few folks mingling. Closing time was not hard and fast, however she would leaving the closing to Beth for the night. “Let me know if you need anything.” She said as she left for the night.

Mia

Mia headed back to her quarters, Amy had already put the twins to bed and Mitizi was watching a movie. Mia walked in and smiled at her step-daughter “Young lady, aren’t you supposed to be in bed right now?” MIa asked. Mitizi giggled “But I wanted to stay up and see you. I’ll go to bed now.” She said and gave Mia a hug and headed to her room “Night Mommy.”

Mia tucked her eldest daughter in and returned to her desk in the living room and sat down to send the sales receipts to Nick so that he could prepare for the deposit that she was transferring to him in the morning. She sighed, she hated being away from him but this was how they had decided to live their lives. Maybe someday he would return to the Station but for now, she was here and she had things to do.

With all of the days business completed. She walked over to the replicator and ordered a sandwich and a glass of milk. She sat down on the sofa and put her feet up. She looked at the holopics scattered around the room and sighed, ate her sandwich and headed to bed.

Finishing up her sandwich and milk, Mia headed to her bed, she had to be up early in order to get things started at the Note. She stepped into the sonic shower to wash off the work day and then crawled into bed and almost instantly fell asleep.
