Eager to continue making her way through the boarding process, Kate briskly walked into the station’s Sickbay – no – Infirmary. She made a conscious effort to respond herself in the difference in terminology, just one of the many changes of life on a mostly stationary object. Looking around the main treatment area, she flagged down the first medical staff member she saw and, with a friendly smiled, enquired, “I’m in need of my boarding physical, could you point me in the direction of someone who could help me out with that?”

The NE Nurse smiled, gesturing towards a man who appeared without a patient. “I believe Dr. Harris and Dr. Odraavi are available,” He said. “Dr. Harris is just over there, nursing that PaDD, and Dr. Odraavi is tending to paperwork in her office. Whichever you’re most comfortable with.” He wasn’t sure whether Trent preferred a male or female doctor, and in effort to ensure her ease, he made both were available to her. In this century, it wasn’t often a problem as people generally viewed others without influence by gender. Regarldess, he didn’t want to risk her discomfiture.
