Kaden thought for a second before he spoke. “Yes sir. I will not make that mistake again. I am just ready to get started with my duties. I will attempt to check my emotions in check.” He then waited for the Lt to respond. He was curious about what chain of command he did not follow but he did not want to bring it up. He hoped the Lt would forgive him. He then waited for a response.

Braxton nodded “as long as you are aware. I need you to be my extra set of eyes while aboard this installation. If you see something that is awry, investigate it respectfully, and report back to me. We have tons of civilian traffic onboard, so be mindful that not everyone is going to be cooperating with you. I’m gonna start you off with patrolling the lower habitat rings first then go from there. Any questions?”

Kaden though this was a very good idea. Keeping an eye on everything going on with the civilians is important on an installation such as this. “Sir Yes Sir. I understand. Do I need to do my normal medical and psychological check-in before starting my duties?” Kaden questioned. He was excited to see what went on around this station and what kind of troublemakers were around.
