Risa had seven primary locations to offer:

• Various resort areas, containing the beaches and parties for those who wanted to relax and enjoy the company of both visitors and the Risian people.
• A cave area for adventurous types who wanted to go spelunking
• A marina where people could take boats out to do some snorkeling.
• Galartha, a cliff face that changed pitch while a person climbed it
• Subterranean gardens with luminescent plants
• Risan steam-pools, which were said to be very relaxing
• Risa water recreation park
