The double doors came up and T’Pris helped Mary lean against the wall before she quickly scanned to see if there were any Romulans in the bay.

The scan showed it opened up into a shuttlebay area there was a small group of 6 Romulans in the bay, two by the double doors and then the others were scattered around the room. Mary panted as she leant against the wall, sweat was beginning to show on her brow.
“Just leave me, I’ll only hold you up.” She stated through gritted teeth.

The Romulans following the group were being held at bay by the barrage of phaser fire from the group. For now.

GM Budgie

Greng looked back towards Commander Morris and said over phaser fire, “Have you gotten a ship Captain?” And continued firing.

“Negative, Commander. There might be comms jammers active,” David called back, holding Greng’s badge in one hand and his disruptor braced against his shoulder with the other.

“Romulans behind and ahead. Can we be beamed out?” T’Pris asked, defiantly feeling trapped now.
Suddenly T’Pris’ eyes widened noticeably. “ Captain I apologize I am not thinking at my clearest.” Quickly she pried open her tricorder and did some emergency adjustments to make it act like a communicator . Putting it back to together she tapped an encryption command and security code that would send it only to the Wolverine. She then tapped a channel open =^=Dr. T’Pris to the Wolverine. Emergency beam out requested if you can, stat!=^=

Unfortunately the com didn’t get go through. No reply came. It was like the com was being jammed or something else was blocking it. The Romulans were closing, time was getting more pressured.

“Captain, we need to move.” Greng said. In a normal situation he would continue in command of the mission but this was different as this was that Captain of this crew and he was still an outsider.

LTCDR Greng

“Agreed. Dr. T’Pris, help the Fleet Captain. Dr. Tessan, Sisnil, cover our backs. Everyone else, make a path to one of those shuttles. Deadly force is authorized. Move!”

T’Pris holstered her tricorder then got her shoulder under Mary again and moved with her into the middle of the group. Ready to run with the other woman as best they could. In her other hand her phaser was ready.

“Aye Sir” he said laying down more fire, the moving some as the rest moved and laying down more fire moving from cover to cover where possible. This was not his idea of what the mission was going to be like, he had expected to see the rest of his crewmates. Dradvia not being with them was very bad, they had to get her back. She would never be able to sleep again after this.

Just then Xekeer appeared at the entrance to the Shuttlebay. He sneered at the Officers as they made their wat to the shuttles. He had a group of 20 Romulans with him all firing at the Starfleet Officers.
“It will be of no use. You won’t get far, we still have 3 vessels against the one of yours.” He shouted as he fired at them. The Romulans were flooding the shuttlebay with soldiers now. Time was running out and

The group barely had time to make it to a shuttle, the Romulan’s blasts landing all around them. Fortunately, no one was hit. The ramp to one of the shuttles was down.
“Get to that shuttle, move it!” Hilderbrand shouted over the din as he lay down covering fire with his phaser rifle. Mary meanwhile hobbled with T’Pris helping her. They made it into the shuttle. Mary panted as she sat down and waited for the rest of the crew. She was pale and sweaty.

T’Pris scrambled to the front of the shuttle’s cockpit and powered up weapons which she used to lay down ground fire for the rest of the away team so they could make it into the shuttle.

Greng moved to a position to ensure everyone got aboard the shuttle and would be the last to get aboard. In a boasterous voice he said, “Let’s move everyone.”

Tealor settled into his seat a scowl on his face, he would find Dradvia, I’m comming he thought thinking of her, where ever she may be.

David launched himself into the pilot’s seat beside T’Pris. “Commander, where’s my ship once we break orbit?”

“If you cover the team I will run the scan, sir.” T’Pris said and once the Captain took over the weapons she quickly ran a scan to see where the ship was.

Greng made sure everyone was aboard then moved onto the shuttle.

T’Pris was having difficulty in finding the Wolverine but she fine tuned the sensors and tried again.

“Try compensating for nadion radiation. If they came under fire it might be obscuring the ship,” David suggested in an aside to T’Pris.

Kaden saw the ship had come out of warp. He was curious what was going on so he hit his comm badge while sitting at his desk working on some paperwork for being new on the vessel. He then said, =/\=Lt Buchanan to Bridge, what is the status of things up there? Is there anything which I can assist with since we have arrived at our location?=/\=

Greng didn’t want to interfere with what was happening so he sat back and observed how the crew reacted to the situation as it was unfolding.
