Approximately one hour after the conference room meeting a console beeped. Stevens (not that one, the other one who hated the Stephens with the ph), woke from a daydream. He’d had the dream again. The one where he ruled over everyone, including the ‘others’. The inferior ones, the scum the dregs of.... ahem… He cleared his throat and concentrated again, shutting out the bad thoughts. He tapped the console and then, eyes wide opened a comm =^= Stevens to Commander Greng. Sir, we’re 5 mins out from our destination.=^= He stated, keeping his voice level and calm, inwardly harbouring foul thoughts and plots, plots within plots. Always plotting. They’ll see. He thought as his eyes narrowed darkly.

McCallister was at the Tactical station. She has sent the Away Team roster to the XO right after the meeting, and had spent the interim time running scenarios through the computer. Now she was running diagnostics of all weapon and defense systems while the helm readouts and long range scan results played across her iris. As the Commander came onto the bridge, she looked up and said “Away Team on standby, Commander. And shuttles on standby for emergency evac.”

Greng straightened his tunic and walked up to the Lieutenant and said, “Lieutenant McCallister, you will be second in command during this mission. Please ensure everything we need is ready to go.”

“Aye aye, Commander.” McCallister replied. If there was any excitement in her, it didn’t show on her face or in her voice. “Pre-deployment work up is almost complete. Transporter room and shuttle Bay are both standing by, and all stations are ready.”

Hilderbrand was on the bridge and he cleared his throat.
“If you don’t mind me asking. Who is on the way team list?” He asked, anxious to know who was going down.
“T-minus 3 minutes.” Stevens called out.

Tealor walked in, he had a emergency med kit with him and his gear, all he needed was a weapon and a transport. He seemed focused and ready to tackle what ever came next. His mind probed everyone’s on the bridge.

As his mind went to the Tactical Officer, he discovered something… odd. It was interference, but not like someone who was trained to block such matters. No, this was more like some kind of ‘white noise’. He could sense her, certainly… but anything deeper was just static.

It wasn’t everyday at Alexei got called for an away team. He was acting chief engineer as the previous one was currently kidnapped, so he figured it was going to be the usual during this time, but he was quietly excited as he entered the bridge with a small toolkit. He didn’t know what–if anything–he’d need, so he had just grabbed a bunch of random tools to bring along.

Tealor was in the transporter room waiting now, his gear ready to go, he brought a small medical kit and tricorder along with a phaser we, it was time that they got their friends back.

Greng walked into the transporter room and looked around. He could feel the atmosphere in the room and knew that the next few hours would tell the tale of how this mission would go. As he continued to move and look, he said, “Does everyone have everything that they need for this mission.” and felt for his Mek’leth was situated smartly on his back for easy accessibility.
