The PaDD was what she was most worried about. “We can replace them. Should… do you want me to call security. Have them look for the person?”

Sisnil frowned in thought. What was least suspicious? Having them look or not having them look? He couldn’t think clearly. “I.... don’t know.”

Dradvia had to file a report anyway. She wasn’t sure what to do. “That’s okay. I’ll take care of it. Are you still hot?”

Dradvia tapped her combadge. “En Dradvia to Cmdr Morris. Could you come to Sickbay please, Sir?”

=/\= “On my way,” =/\= came the immediate response. It was less than 45 seconds until David walked through the sickbay doors, a PADD in hand. “I got a report there was a medical emergency transport? What happened?” he asked before the doors even closed, beelining for Sisnil’s biobed.

Dradvia stood from where she was sitting beside the biobed. “He was stabbed. Whatever they used was laced with echtallin poison. It’s quite deadly and extremely painful. I’ve started him on the antidote, but…” Well she didn’t know. “He needs about 3 infusions of blood, but the surgery went well. It’s the poison I’m worried about.”

“I’m fiiiiine,” Sisnil said from the biobed, putting on a tough face because of Morris’s presence. “You’re not here because I got stabbed, you’re here because my PaDD got jacked.”

“Both are important,” David said. “I’ll need to know exactly how much access you had on it you weren’t supposed to,” he glanced up at Dradvia, “but at the moment, tell me what you know so far about the poison and attack.”

“Nothing about the attack itself. The puncture wound was made by something serrated and very sharp. Echtallin poisoning is meant to be cruel. It attacks the nerves. Over stimulates them and causes extreme pain as it slowly workes through the central nervous system. Most pain killers don’t work and it stops the body from producing melatonin so the person can’t sleep. It can last 4 to 6 days before the heart gives out from the pain or the nervous system and brain stop working.”

“A knife. Klingon knife.” There was some bruising around his throat from the chokehold the man had him in. “I don’t know how long it was, but the man basically ran me through with it.” Sisnil was more than glad to avoid the question of what he had access to.
