Hello Wolverine!

Happy New Year! The in-game year is now 2401 for all new side sims, and for the ship in general once the main sim concludes. As per the President’s direction, AWOL limits will return to normal starting January 6th, 2025. I am interpreting this as the day the counter starts again - thus JOs have until Jan 16 to post before they’re AWOL, DHs until Jan 13, and Command staff until Jan 11. As far as the Main Sim goes, a brief recap for anyone who lost track over the holidays:

On the Wolverine: While rendezvousing with the USS Ragnar and tracking down Imperial Sabre - a Romulan splinter faction who had captured Commodore Oper Keme and Fleet Captain Mary Mayfield, two Intelligence Officers - members of the Marine detachment were revealed as Romulan infiltrators. They sabotaged the power systems and beamed away with Cmdr. Morris, Lt. Castle, Ens. Dradvia and Conway, and Dr. T’Pris. The remaining senior officers (including the newly arrived XO, Marine OIC, and Sisnil, along with the previously present senior staff) convened an emergency conference. Most recently, McCallister, Cel, and Marshall captured one of the infiltrators, while Rodrigo, Lovejoy, and Ens. Tonav worked to restore power and warp capability as quickly as possible.

In the Hands of Imperial Sabre: The captured officers were beamed to a Romulan ship, which set course for the planet Melania IV. During the journey, Ens. Dradvia was sold back to her former Orion Syndicate master and taken a different direction, despite David’s various threats and protestations. The remainder of the prisoners arrived at the planet, and Ens. Conway was severely injured by a disruptor blast from a guard. They were ushered into dark cells - T’Pris and Conway together, David with a Bajoran woman revealed to be Commodore Oper, and Darklis with a badly injured human woman.
