After Staff Sergeant T’Plak left his office, Cel stood up walked to the back of his office.

‘To accomplish this mission, we are going to need bait.’ Cel thought after a few moments to ensure that she had enough time to get some distance from him.

‘It could work. Place a tracker on the bait so we can locate them. Should lead us to the prisoner. ’ Squared replied. ’ They won’t be happy about it though.’

“Eh” Cel said aloud before tapping his combadge.

=^=LT Theinna to Commander Morris, I would like to see you, Commander Claire and Lt McCallister in your ready room to discuss Security arrangements.”

-Cel

The response was almost immediate. =/\= “Granted. I’m looping in Captain Hilderbrand as well. I’ll see you all in five.” =/\= David’s tone, while slightly terse, wasn’t annoyed. It was more the voice of someone who had too many tasks and not enough time. He sent out a summons to Hilderbrand and McCallister, then motioned Alita to follow him, calling over his shoulder, “NLt Steven, you have the bridge.”

Alita nodded and followed. She wondered, was it wise to give an LT Stephen the bridge?

Stephen nodded at Commander David, he was one step closer to his ultimate plan. As David and Alita left the Bridge he stood up and sat in the Captain’s chair. He gave a satisfied sigh and smiled unpleasantly.

GM Budgie

Cel arrived four minutes later and rang the chime to the ready room. As he did he took a look around the bridge.

The turbo lift doors opened and the new Tactical officer stepped out, glowing blue eyes taking in the bridge as she turned towards the Ready Room door. Seeing the Security Chief, she smiled as she approached. “Lieutenant. How are you? I hope I’m not in trouble already. I try to push that to at least my second week on board.”

McCallister, Tactical

Cel turned to look at the sound of the new voice. When he saw Lt McCallisters blue eyes a brief look of sadness showed on Cel’s stoic face before his expression returned to normal. He returned her smile.

“Trouble, give it a few hours.” He gave a half smile. “It will be nice to talk tactics with someone. Someone who speaks the language.”

Veronica smiled and said “Anytime. I may not be fluent, but I can pass for a native speaker in a pinch.” with a friendly wink. “So mind giving me a bit of a heads-up on what we’re doing here?”

McCallister, Tactical

Cel took a step closer to Veronica. “If you knew you were walking into a trap, but had no idea what that trap was or what it involved, how would you propose to proceed?” He asked quietly.

“Not walk straight in.” she said flatly and immediately. “Do something unexpected. Throw off their game plan. If I don’t know what to expect, neither should whomever I’m dealing with.”

McAllister, Tactical

OCC: Bump for CO.

IC: Cel smiled. “Excatly. Except in this case we may have to walk right in.” He shrugged. “I’ll explain once we get inside.”
