David walked down the corridor to sickbay, his customary PADD tucked under his arm and a pleasant, if somewhat more serious than he liked, expression on his face. It was still odd walking into this room in command red - it’d been months, but old habits die hard and he was still a medical officer at heart. The doors hissed open at his approach, and he strode into the room, making eye contact with and crossing to the shift duty officer. “Can I pull Ensign Dradvia for a few minutes? I don’t expect we’ll be long - just some paperwork I have to get done.”

The lieutenant nodded, “Of course, sir!” She motioned to Dradvia to follow David, who led her over to Tessan’s office. He knew that the CMO was out for the shift, so it would be a private place to talk. “Sit down,” he encouraged. “You aren’t in trouble in any way, shape or form.”

Dradvia nodded and made her way toward Cmdr Morris. She followed him into Tessan’s office. She was confused what paperwork he had that involved her. She had completed all of her check-ins. Was there a problem with her records from the Academy? She sat when he told her too, but his next words put her on edge and it was obvious. Nothing good ever happened when started with the words “you aren’t in trouble.”

David smiled warmly, doing his best to calm her back down and keep her calm. “Ensign Stevens from Engineering has claimed that Mr. Zoi - Sisnil - ‘never leaves you alone’ and ‘doesn’t allow you to socialize with anyone other than him’. Now, I’m inclined to believe Sisnil on this, but I do have to ask you directly - is Stevens claiming this falsely, or is he correct? And in either case, how can I and the command staff help with the situation?”
