Having just moved out of the science lab into engineering, Nerira realized that there would probably be enough space to use parts of engineering as the science lab but it would require a major reconfiguration of the software and some hardware. However when she finished the space would look visually indistinguishable from before. Nerira decided to submit a request to reconfigure the equipment.

David rubbed his eyes as he pressed the ‘next’ button on the never ending stack of digital paperwork. He at one point would have separated each thing onto its own PADD, but that was long abandoned for the sake of being able to see over his desk. He looked back up to the screen - apparently a request from engineering to modify the ship’s layout - and scanned through it. Finally, something to break the monotony. He took a few notes on one of the several PADDs he kept in a deskside drawer in the ready room, and then tapped the comm button on his console. =/\= “Lieutenant A’Kanar, if you have a few minutes, could you join me in the ready room, please?” =/\=
