Alita entered her quarters and sat in her favorite chair. She just sat there for a few minutes letting everything and all of her thoughts settle around her. Liza her mother’s caretaker had thought her to just settle with her feelings for a bit to calm herself. Liza had always told her that she let life get to her too much without taking a breath. After a bit of that, she checked everybody’s relevant schedules and finally figured out a time for what the captain had requested.

=^=Thienna, Baker, my schedule shows you free at 1400 today. Request your presence for rifle drills and equipment cleaning at 1400 holodeck 3. Let me know if this is a problem. Make it not a problem please.=^=

Aleta’s voice had the air of friendly authority. It wasn’t an order but it was something that you shouldn’t challenge unless it was absolutely necessary. The time between now and then was just enough time for her to actually make a good meal for them. Something she enjoyed doing and a Time killer that would put her thoughts in order.

Baker was reading when he got the call. He had changed into his day clothes, a beige wrap and black work out pants, and had settled in with a copy of Dune as a Klingon opera played behind him. The music was cut off abruptly with the COS’s summons, to which he quickly responded. =/\= Heard. Will report at 1400 for drills. Baker out.=/\= Baker ended the call and went up to get dressed into his gold and black uniform. First phaser drills with Black, and now a rifle drill with Thienna. Alita runs a tight ship on the Wolverine, baker thought, reminding himself just how new he was to the crew. Once he was dressed and ready, he saw he still had time before 1400. “Computer, resume playing.” he said and the symphonic tones of the opera once again filled his quarters.

He was still humming along to the tune when he arrived at Holodeck 3, hitting the door chime to announce his arrival and await entry.
