The doors to sickbay opened and David strolled in cheerfully, approaching a NE nurse nearby. “Hello! I’m here for my onboarding checkup? Also I’ll be working here some of the time, do you know where the CMO is?”

Once he was pointed in the right direction, he approached the human woman. “Dr. Locksley? I’m Lt. David Morris. I’m here both for my boarding physical and to check in with you as your new part-time medic.” He smiled.

“Finally,” Lily said with great enthusiasm. “I have been pinging Starfleet for weeks. I am so happy you are here. Coffee first and then the eval,” she asked pointing with one hand to her office and the other to a bio bed. Whichever Morris picked she would go with.

David walked towards the indicated office and took the seat on the outside of the desk. “Glad to be here, ma’am,” he said. “I’ll be here as much as I can while balancing my counselor duties as well.” He waited for her to arrive and turned to face her. “What sort of jobs here would you like me to start doing?”
