Boarding the Wolverine left a lot of possibilities open for Jamie’s future, and as exciting as it was to imagine the work ahead of him, that could only be real if there wasn’t anything immediately wrong with him. Honestly, the thought brought him nerves, but he stifled them as he walked through the doors into Sickbay, shaking his head to himself and tapping his fingers together idly to bide time.

“Hello?” Ensign Wrona asked somewhat blankly, not knowing where exactly he should be looking for a doctor on the new ship. His hands rigidly fell back to his sides, almost automatically as he entered Sickbay. “Is this an okay time?”

Jamie cleared his throat, quietly. Better make a good first impression.

“Greetings and welcome to the madness.. now is great. Please come in and hop up onto the nearest bio bed” She said with a smile reaching out her hand to shake his invitingly.

Ensign Mantis [Doctor]

Immediately, seeing another ensign eased some of Jamie’s nerves further, accordingly shown with the relaxation of his body, which was more than a little uptight before. With a sigh, he smiled and nodded quickly, reaching out and meeting the handshake.

“Oh, thanks,” Jamie acknowledged, looking around the room for a moment before he headed for that nearest bio bed. Given that this was his first posting in a while, and his second ever, he hasn’t been in a sickbay for something as rudimentary as a physical in a while. That was comforting. “I’m Jamie Wrona, by the way. Nice to meet you!”
