Remy had gone over the reports from the previous mission numerous times, looking for something to keep him from doing what he was about to do.

Finally, not finding any reason to hold off any longer, he set the Padd on his desk and tapped his comm badge.

Cel was sitting in his room, looking up at the ceiling. His eyes were closed, deep in thought.

‘Hannibal was out matched and out maneuvered at Zama.’ Squared stated in Cel’s mind. ‘Scipio knew his tactics, learned from his past battles and beat Hannibal. What else do you need to get that.’

‘Yes’ Cel thought back. ‘He did lose at Zama, but why did he lose at Zama? Look back farther, what lead Hannibal’s campaign to that battle? Political failure on behalf of the Carthaginian leaders. Lack of support back home. Hannibal lost the war when he failed to learn political lessons when he was still in Spain.’

‘What could this be?’ Squared thought cautiously.

‘I don’t know, but this discussion about Hannibal isn’t over.’ Cel replied as he got into his uniform and left his quarters.

‘Maybe he is sending us back prison?’ Squared said sarcastically.

‘Maybe I should tell him about you, then I would be rid of your whining.’ Cel shot back in anger and frustration.

A few minutes later he arrived at the Captains ready room and pressed the chime.
