Collin Harding : : : Posted by Lieut (j.g.) Sathut (Counselor) in CNS Office, TAG Lt. Cmdr. Collin Harding : : : Who was next? Sathut wondered quietly, checking his device. Ah, the Chief medical officer. A long history of duty, quite impressive. He would see about the man’s mental status soon. Sathut took a long sip of his Jinnen before composing the next message. Although each one was very similar in composition, he did make the messages each unique in some way. =^=Sathut to Lt. Cmdr. Collin Harding. Could you come to my office at your earliest convenience? I look forward to meeting with you. Sathut out.=^= : : : : : : - Sathut : : : : Collin hadn’t taken long to respond and the message he sent back indicated he was available that afternoon at 1600 hours, after his shift in Sickbay. The Counselor’s office was only one deck above Sickbay and the short journey helped ensure he was prompt. : : : : He was curious to meet the new Counselor. Together they worked to ensure the crew’s health. The doctor knew a person’s mental health was as vital as their physical health and he had a strong degree of respect for counselors and the work they did. : : : : He pressed the chime. : : : : Harding, CMO : : The door opened with a shhk, revealing the counselor’s office behind. The decor of the office was strange, to say the least. Other than the nice, human-sized couch, everything looked like it had been manufactured for a child. The desk was half the height of a normal one, and even the computer looked small. There was a chair opposite to the couch that, strangely, was proportioned for a child but was tall, almost like a high chair. The counselor himself, well… : : The man was a feline alien, no more than three feet in height when standing. He wore a sleeveless flowing Turquoise robe, with gold, silver, and reddish embroidery covering it in intricate detail. Honestly he’d rather wear nothing in regards to cloth, but that didn’t seem to be approved of around here. On his ears were a selection of bright golden rings, some with small gems embedded in them. His wrists bore woven rope bracelets, the right arm wrapped from wrist to elbow in braided twine. His right leg, although not visible from where he was seated, bore an intricate silver brace, the metal woven in its own patterns. : : The small alien stood and walked to the open door to greet his guest. “Greetings,” he said, his head dipping respectfully. His palm rested on his chest, then extended out in a graceful motion towards the Human male. “May your hearts beat strongly, and your love grow wide,” he spoke as he performed the action, then pulled his hand back, folding his hands in front of himself. : : When he did this, it would be shown to Harding that on his hand he had three fingers and a thumb, as opposed to the regular four and a thumb. “Thank you for coming. Please, take a seat,” he spoke, gesturing to the comfortable looking couch, then moving over to his chair and gracefully leaping into it. He sat like a house cat, his hands folded beneath his chest. : : - Sathut : OOC: sorry all for the copy-paste room and character description! it’d be too much to describe it uniquely nine different times. The man standing in the new Counselor’s door was blond, tanned, and had a broad toothy grin. Having come from his shift, he was in uniform, although he’d left his lab coat back in his office. Collin was alerted anytime a unique species was assigned to the Olympic. He also made a habit of familiarizing himself with the medical records of the senior staff. Therefore he wasn’t surprised to take in the diminutive, feline form before him. The decor, however, caught his eye, and he took it in for a moment. “Howzit, Counselor,” he greeted, smiling. “Collin Harding. Glad to have you aboard. Its been a bit since we had a permanent head of your department and, if I’m able to be frank, it’s no good for a starship to be without a robust mental health department.” He stood there, smiling at Sathut, apparently ready for his direction on where they’d start. Harding, CMO
