The next morning her and Eli were sitting in the main hall Valaria sat on her main throne, surounded by several slaves, and Lohkar stood just behind her and to the right. “Welome Varshkilu, please approach and make your case”

Vash wanted nothing more than to grab Papa’s hand and hold it, but she couldn’t. She had to do this on her own. She didn’t even look at him. She stepped forward. She bowed, “Thank you Mistress Valeria.” She began her case by stating all of her training. How she had trained to earn top positions with all of her masters. How she worked her father’s business, how she saved to earn her freedom for those jobs. “I would have been content to continue to serve in my father’s house, to earn my inheritance and serve you Mistress through his legacy after he was gone. It became quite clear in recent years that that is not possible for me. It is no secret that I am a half-breed. My father has no intention of allowing a half-breed to inherit his business. I accept that is his choice, but it is not mine. It has also become clear that if I were to stay in the service of his House that my safety would not be guaranteed by whomever would inherit. My father’s business is also failing, corrupted internally.”

She paused briefly there. She felt bad throwing her father into the arena like that. But it was true. “The evidence and encounters that led me to that conclusion have been included in my report. It was these things that have led me to secure my freedom from my father. More than that, what do we train for. What do we serve masters for except to earn our freedom so that we can inherit our families’ work or start our own? I will not inherit, so I must make my place with my own skills. The sooner I begin, the sooner I can keep my earnings rather than owing them to others, the sooner I can make a legacy that my own children, one day, will inherit from me.”

Vashkilu, New Arrival

Valaria smiled looking down at Vash she was a valuable asset one that had brought her mother a lot of money, she would hate to see her go. “Vashkilu, you have served well, I see no reason to delay your relse, that said in looking through your record I find it hard to just part with such a rare gifted worker. “In the past this house would have requested double your value and continued to pile interest while you worked to pay off your dept., and would could money acquired dept from others.” she said standing and walking down to her. “Do you think that is the right thing to do?” she ask standing now directly in front of vash.

Elias “Eli” Trenor

“For myself and the start of my own work? Of course not, Mistress,” Vash smiled, “But for your House and business, it is a lucrative precedent if balanced correctly. If the cost is too high, then the slave may give up and not work as hard. If the cost is too low, you risk not getting a return on the deep investment you made.”

Vashkilu, New Arrival

She leaned in, “You are very good” she whispered softly. Then she kissed her cheek and stepped back. “Vashkilu, you freedom will cost you 500bricks of lattinum, further I will deffer the interest for one of our standard years, if you will complete one last mission for me.”

Thalen Kirell
Owner: Soma Nightclub.

That was quicker than she expected. She almost shivered as Valeria kissed her cheek. Instead she smiled. “I am yours to command, Mistress. I will sign such a contract.” It was a generous and more than fair offer. It was a lot, but not as much as Valeria could have demanded.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

She smiled. “Excellent, Everyone Leave us, the work I want them to do is ,,, sensitive” she said and waited for everyone to comply even Lohkar, who stopped only a moment lower his head. “Mistress” he said then left.

That surprised Vash. She watched the man leave. He wasn’t comfortable with it. He felt concerned and worried under the displeasure.

“You are free to have whatever assistance to pay for your freedom, it will not incur as dept. I’m trying to change the way things are done, but I have to be very careful. Fortunately a few know what i’m asking you to do and will understand my request for privacy. ” she said moving to a comfortable sofa, patting it she smiled “both of you”

Eli did not hesitate though he had to work hard to act like he was honored. He sat next two her and place his arm behind her on the back of the sofa.

Elias “Eli” Trenor

Vash moved to the sofa and sat beside Eli. “Of course Mistress. What can we…” It hit Vash very very suddenly. Her expression went taut and her complexion gray. Her hand gripped Papa’s arm. Someone was in intense pain and fear and… emotional pain. Strong enough to break through her barriers.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

Valaria looked at her, “Are you ok?” she said placing a hand on Vash in an attempt to console her. “Is she ok?”

Eli knew the look, but was not sure if Vash would want the mistress to know.
Elias “Eli” Trenor

Vash gripped his arm harder as she took a slow deep breath and pushed past the surprise and intensity. “Forgive me Mistress. I am fine, but someone on your ship is not.” She looked around, the room was empty except for them, and the pain wasn’t coming from Valeria or Eli. “In a great deal of pain for me to sense it here.”

Vashkilu, New Arrival

Valaria looked at her a bit puzzled, “What kind of half breed are you?” she said looking at here, “and I imagine there are many in great pain, I do not show mercy to traitors” she said not wanting to reveal that Dradvia was among them and that she was part of the mission they would undergo. She to this point did not know that vash was half deltan, only that she was not full Orion.

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

“Deltan, Mistress.” Vash assumed that her father had reported that to Valeria’s mother. Now that she had said something, it was too late to back out. “Very weak. Mostly it enhanced my figure and made me bald. But sometimes very strong emotions will register. I have never had it happen when the person is not in the same room as me, Mistress. So the pain must be beyond limits. More than that, it is not physical pain.”

Vashkilu, New Arrival

Valaria took Vashes hand so there would be no question. “Mistakes were made with that one, on the part of my enforcer, he is deeply regretful” she said softly. “She is also a starfleet problem, part one of the task is you getting her back to OED and returning her to Starfleet, we don’t need that kind of trouble here. ” she noted, “Hopefully they can help her recover, or at least make her comfortable.” she noted

Elias “Eli” Trenor

Vash’s feelings of dread flitted briefly only to Eli. The tales of what Lokhar would do were terrifying. “Of course I will do as you bid, Mistress. I will be so bold to ask, is Enforcer Lokhar giving this slave her freedom? Or will he be coming after us for stealing her?” Lokhar had never been known to release anyone except in death.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

“You will not have any issues from anyone, she has been released” she noted without getting into to much detail. “As too the other, I have been informed that a rival is operating on OED, OED belongs to me, find them, find out who they are working with and report back to me. Once your done with that you are free to do what ever you want once you have paid. If you are still mine at that time I may have other work for you to do. ” she squeezed Vashes hand. “And Vashkilu” he said. “Do not assume I am week because I’m letting you go, if you delay to try to get other work, lie to me or I otherwise find out you have crossed me, then I will let Lohkar have you as a play toy” she said, her emotions were clear on the mater as well. He biggest fear was that people would think her weak for the changes she was making, and she would be quick to prove them wrong.

Elias “Eli” Trenor

Vash sat back surprised. “I would not dishonor my name with such behavior, Mistress. Having recently lost Sisnil Zoi to Star Fleet, I understand the need to avoid their complications. As for the contract, it is different than what I would have expected from your mother, but it is very traditional. As you know my father is very traditional as well. Tradition is not weakness, Mistress. I am honored by it.” She could make Valeria feel her sincerity, but didn’t want to give that ability away. Instead she held her Mistress’s gaze as she spoke. “What do you want us to do with this woman, and with the interloper on Oed?”

Vashkilu, New Arrival

Valaria looked at her hand a momement as if she was disapointed. “Get her back to her people with as little noise as posible.” she said. “As for the interloper, investigate let me know what’s going on and we’ll go from there.” she said standing

“I will keep you updated regularly, Mistress. Mr. Trenor is a medic. Is it possible for him to assess the girl to make sure we have the means to deliver her healthy?” Vash asked.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

She gave a nod and called in a servant to take them to Dradvia, “her name is Dradvia, she is Risen and a doctor, she is indeed in bad shape” she noted.

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

“Thank you Mistress. We will leave as soon as the papers are in order. And we will take care of her.” Vash stood and vowed low, “And I will see this other problem handled.”

They left following the servant toward the medical bay. Vash didn’t need to be told which patient was the Dradvia in question. The anguish drew her like a magnet. She moved over to her side. Her hand itched to soothe the girl’s pain, but that would need to wait until they were in the shuttle.

Her readings showed all the signs of prolonged pain and a high level of neurotransmitters. The rest didn’t make sense to Vash. Eli would recognize them though. Pain, erratic REM sleep, signs of prolonged mistreatment, drug withdrawal…

Vashkilu, New Arrival

Eli looked at the nurse that was present. “The Mistress has asked us to transport the paitent, I will need to evaluate her condition before we leave” he said stepping up to her, “Hello, ” he said softly looking at her. “Dradvia, I’m Elias, Trenor can you hear me?” he said softly touching her arm.

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

The nurse nodded and stepped out of the way. She was one of the trusted ones. She hoped they were good people. Dradvia didn’t need more pain.

Dradvia didn’t look at him. Her gaze was vacant. When Trenor touched her arm she twitched and there was an almost silent hitch of fear in her breath. The readings showed hear heart rate and BP shot up wildly along with an adrenaline spike. A fear response.

“I’m afraid she is unresponsive Mr. Trenor. We’ve tried, but nothing. Only when someone touches her, but it never seems to bring her out of it. We are keeping her on fluids, she won’t eat or drink.”

A single tear slipped from the corner of her eye, down her temple and into her hair.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

Eli removed his arm slowly, the disgust in his voice was clear though not really directed at the nurse. “That’s what happens when you push someone past their breaking point, I’ll not subject her to more tramma by a strange man examining her. please let me see her charts and scans” he said then leaned in looking her in the eyes. “Don’t you worry, old Eli has you know, no one will ever hurt you again” he said, his voice was soft and full of compassion and maybe something else, the sound of a father.

Vash watched him. She was reminded of the first time she met him. In a very similar situation except she was physically sick. She wanted to help the girl. They needed her off this ship.

Dradvia didn’t respond to him, but Vash knew something had registered. The nurse gave him her chart.

By the time he was done looking at her chart, he was shaking, he chucked the chart at the person closest to him. “You all should be ashamed of yourselves!” he growled half under his breath. “Come on Vash, lets get her out of here” he said starting to prep the bed to move. “I want two months of supplies for here, don’t like it, don’t care the Mistress will see to it, or i’ll pay for it myself I don’t care, I want it on my shuttle in less than an hour, and for the love of all thing get the woman some cloths.”

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

The medical staff moved. Dradvia was to be given the best care and they made sure Trenor had all the equipment to do that. Vash had been given the necessary paperwork. Before they left Lokhar entered the medical bay. He strode over to Dradvia and set his massive hand on her head. The monitors showed that same fear response, but more, but Vash felt the negative psychological attachment too.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

“Leave Us” he commanded.

Eli started to protest, but the look vash gave him warned him. He spat on the ground at Lohkar’s feet and then walked out.

His hand stroked her hair, “shhh, no need to fear me” he said softly. “I’m sorry that I hurt you, I lost control, When I first found you I knew I always had to protect you, to love you and to keep you safe.” he said shaking his head. “I did not understand what those things meant. I hope you get better, I hope you find someone who can love and protect you in a way I could not” he leaned down and kissed her forehead.

“I hope I am doing the right thing” he leaned in close, a whisper now.

“Starfleet is good, it was all lies to keep you from running away from me, I’m sorry Dravida, I never meant for this, I love you, good bye” he said kissing her on the cheek and then he started to turn and walk away. Tears in his eyes, Valaria had made him soft, weak in the mind what was he to do now that she would be gone.

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

Dradvia’s eyes teared and slipped over her face. Good-Bye? Her heart began to beat erratically. He was sending her away? Why?! What had she done? But then he was gone, and she couldn’t fight through the fog. Vash could feel the panic and terror, even as the mind went blank and check out. She darted back in past Lokhar as he left. The alarms were beeping, warning of too high a stress level. Vash set her hand on Dradvia’s forehead and took a calming breath. You are safe, be calm, she thought to her.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

Elias glared at Lohkar as he walked past. Lohkar just snorted as if it matter not, but it did, he felt horible, why he was not sure, he had made her so dependant on him that she may never be right.

Elias did not touch her this time, “It’s ok, Dradvia, Eli and Vash have you now we’ll take good care of you and get you home” he said but not to loudly.

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

Vash glanced up at Papa and shook her head. There was no response. Though Dradvia showed no signs of being physically hurt by the visit, mentally, emotionally she was quite broken. The nurse walked over, “Everything you requested has been taken to the shuttle bay Mr. Trenor. You only need to approve it and the servants will load it for you.”

“We’ll load it ourselves,” Vash said and the nurse nodded. “Of course.” She set a hand next to Dradvia’s shoulder, gently but just enough the woman knew her hand was there without touching her. “I’m sorry Dradvia. I hope you get better.” The nurse disconnected the equipment from the main ship’s power so they could move her.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

Once they were alone and securing the shuttle, secured dradvia’s bed and began loading supplies with Vash. “I don’t understand orion culture, what possible gain is there in treating someone so poorly.” he said quietly . “The poor girl” he said opening a box and unloading fluid into a drawer.

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

Vash shook her head, “There is no gain. This… this is not the Orion way, not traditionally. Somewhere along the way things changed. I don’t know how or why.” Vash stopped next to Dradvia’s bed, the girl’s eyes were tracking about the room. She was scared, confused, Vash wanted to help her. She moved back out and grabbed the last crate. “I’m going to get us going.”

She took the pilot’s seat. [O]Shuttle Azure to Corsair’s Bounty. This is Vashkilu. Requesting permission to disembark.[c]

[o]You are cleared to disembark Vashkilu. Corsair’s Bounty Out.[C] The engines hummed to life and soon the thrusters were lifting the shuttle off the bay floor and they were slipping out the forcefield. She set a course for Oed V and put in for maximum warp. “We’re getting you out of here,” she whispered into the air.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

“Im sorry my daughter I know that sounded like a critizism Im just” he shook his head and sat down next to Dradvia’s bed. “I know your confused and scared, and I don’t know how to help with that” he said softly. “but on my honor you will get back home to your people, and will be the better for it” he leand back against the bulkhead. “Im tired Vash, i’m going to sleep a bit.”

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

“It’s alright, Papa. Just lay back and rest. Do you need anything? We’re clear for now.” Vash called back from the controls.

Dradvia’s eyes flicked around the small area, his voice drew her attention to him. Sadness filled her expression before her expression went blank again. She slipped back into that relief of numbness.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

He slept not long but enought that when he shook awake from a bad dream, he was too awake to go back to sleep. “I know all these emotions have to be hard on you, can you block them out?” he asked checking on her before shifting his focus to Dradvia

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

Vash set a hand on his arm, soothing the risidual stress of the dream. “I’m fine, Papa.” She leaned down and kissed his cheek. “It only caught me by surprise. I’m glad it did. I promise I”m okay. I can block it.” She set a glass of water down in front of him, and then moved back to the controls.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

He smiled, and took a sip of water. “You know Dradvia, when I was a boy I used to play in lush fields, filled with flowers and cute little creatures that seeme to know me and my sister were special. ” he said leaning back closing his eyes. “We were so young the smell of the air was fresh and the sun, oh the sun the way it hit my skin. It was like life it self had washing into me” he placed a hand up on the cot next to her but did not touch her hand. “My sister was chasing me trying to catch me but I was too fast for her, just, the first one home would get the last pastry from the morning. ” he said. “There was always pastries in the house, especially when we were at the summer house, fresh and so good, but my sister and I competed over everything. ” he chuckled. “We ran and ran, over logs and under branches, and then I saw it, the smoke, rising from the house fire taller than two men, and my mom and dad on their knees faceig the end of Cardasian weapons” he said, “It was the last time I saw my parents alive, before they took my sister and I. The federation had left our colony behind enemy lines, abandoned us leaving my family and thier citizen to rot in the hands of the Cardasians.” he spat on the floor of hte shuttle.

Vash needed to hear this too, to understand what she would inherit

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

Vash didn’t dare turn around. But if she had had eyebrows they would now be one with her non-existent hair. Papa was talking about… about his childhood, about the Cardassians. She had tried so many times over the last few years to get him to open up, but he wouldn’t. Never. And he was opening up to this woman. Why? It didn’t matter, she wasn’t going to say anything and risk him stopping.

Dradvia’s eyes flicked once when he said he had a sister. Did he still have her? She missed Kryssa so much.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

Eli could feel vash, she had asked him so many times and he had not wanted to burden her, or take the time, or maybe he just did not want to face it. What ever the reason something inside him said that maybe it would help her, how he was not sure, he was not good at feelings.

“The lashes came and went, and the pain rods, I still feel all of it to this day. ” he said. “Alana, I thought she was dead, they brought her one time , the sounds she made gutted me, from then on we behaved, mostly, though they still punished for every little act of defiance. My back can attest to it.” he noted.

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

A cry, whimper, a sound of distress left her. She knew lashes and pain sticks. She knew about punishment for things that weren’t defiance. Her fingers twitched. Her heart rated spiked, her mind registered pain. Phantoms and memory.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

“Ok dear, ok, he said” then shifted the topic. “After that as long as we were good we were aloud to work togeth, brother and sister working in a mine but together. ” he said “We settled into some sort of normal, we were seperated at night, I don’t really know why thought I have my suspicians now.” he said. “Oh how I miss her.” he said the tear reasonated in his voice.

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

Dradvia knew. She knew exactly why. The Orions were the same. If she and Kryssa were good they got to stay together, when he was mad he seperated them. Tears slipped out both eyes. She didn’t want to hear it. She wanted to go back to that numb nothingness. His voice though… she couldn’t ignore it. The catch in his voice made her chest ache. Her next breath had a sad hitch. She missed Kryssa too. He was alone like she was… no no he called the woman by name, she called him Papa. Were they family? But he was alone, had been. She felt it, she knew.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

“Then, after two years of it, the lashes, the bone breaking work in the mines its started ” he said with a dramatic build in his voice,”Whispers of revolution of a rebellion against the Cardassians. ” he said, “Tara came into the mines that day, she was a resistance fighter, had plans to get us all out of the mine so we could fight with them. Maquis she called her people” he noted.”I was a young boy impressionable, angry, ready to burn the galaxy to the ground to avenge my family. ” he smiled. “She was only a few years older than me really. ”

“Then our day came, it had been insane really, to think we would get away without a fight.” he paused.

Dradvia knew, she just knew what came next. Her eyes closed trying to block out the sound. She didn’t need to be psychic to know. It would end in tragedy.

“One minute we were sneaking through tunnels of hte mines next thing we were being shot at, I could see it through the light from the back entrance, where a shuttle was waiting, where freedom was waiting. I pulled her faster with me.. freedom was mear strides away”

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

Vash knew this story, knew what it cost Papa to tell it. She just couldn’t figure out why he was telling this woman who wouldn’t, no who couldn’t, talk to them.

Freedom was impossible. Once lost it could never be found again. Her fingers flexed. He could feel the sheet on the biobed tug under his hand at the movement. She wasn’t trying to touch him. She was trying to shield herself, protect her mind from what he would say next. Her nails, cut and kept long and elegant, dug painfully into her palm. It didn’t help though. Instead of letting her drift away again, the pain brought mental focus. She didn’t want to focus.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

“When, , when the blast collapsed the tunnel wall, I felt her hand tug, when I turned she was gone, 6 foot pile of rubble stood where my sister had been, I felt look I stood there for hours waiting for the rocks to move, but it was a heartbeat maybe too” he said, Then I was digging lifting rocks I should not be able to lift. ” he patted the side of the table. “Tara had to pull me away drag me really.”

“Never saw her again,” he said plainly. “Tara and I went off to fight the Cardassians with the Maquie, she and I married a few years later, had a daughter, they died in a cardassian raid.”

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

Vash turned in her seat to look towards them, just as the tears broke free of Dradvia’s lids. His story was reaching her. Pain and sorrow and grief, but it was reaching her. Vash could feel the woman’s heart breaking for Papa’s loss and pain. Not her own, just his. Even amidst her own pain, this woman had enough compassion left to feel for Papa.

The tears streamed down. Silently but fully. Soaking her hair. He fought back, and then lost again. It was wrong, so very wrong. He seemed strong, stronger than everyone but Master. And he failed to stop them. Is that why he was in the Syndicate? Had his rage and sorrow driven him to them? Or had they taken advantage of him too? Where were they taking her, what did he want?

This must be a test, Master was testing her loyalty.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

He sighed, “After that I spent years fighting saving as many as I could and killing all the cardisians i could find.” he by the time the Dominion attacked my name had spread through the quadrant. “Elias Trenor, the hero, if you asked the Maguie, Elias Trennor, the Terrorist if you asked the Cardicians. If you ask the syndicate today, I’m Elias Trenor the assasin, the killer, the man who can smuggling anything, can out gun anyone and if you meet him on the wrong side of the barrel you’ll meet no other.” he said, “Im sure you know the name” he said.

Dradvia didn’t know the name. She’d never heard of him. As he described himself her terror rose. The monitor’s showed it. The adrenaline spike, the huge jump in her pulse and her climbing blood pressure. She’d displeased master and mistress, and now they were letting this man take her … was he going to kill her?

Vash called softly, “Papa,” in a gentle warning tone with a meaningful nod to Dradvia. She was terrified.

“Where was I, oh when the dominion came, The war began and I was forced to work with starfleet to beat my enemy. I met my second wife there, she and our unborn died a year after we wed. Salha’ja was a fierce Bajoran woman, fighting battles no mater what what, she was well into her third trimester when she died.” he noted. “She sacrificed herself to save a ship of hundreds including me.”

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

Why was working with Star Fleet bad? They helped in the war, they fought against the Cardassians, tried to make peace. She didn’t know a lot about it though. That part was sort of skipped over for the Dominion War. If he worked with Star Fleet, maybe he would help her get back? But trying to speak was too much. The terror at what he might do to her, pushed her mind back toward the numbing safety of nothingness.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

“When the war finished, my people were in ruined and star fleet left them where they were to rot.” he said, “I rejected the commission they offered me, spatt it back in their face.” he noted. “I went to work for the syndicate and really anyone who would pay. ” he looked at vash, “I was not a good man” he noted but left it there. “When vash and her crew found me, I was trying to disappear into a rather nice glass of whisky, she was dying and they needed a medic someone to see if they could bring her back”. he looked around a moment. Then leaned it close. “Man was she terror on legs, feisty, flirtatious and dangerous, I mean I could have been her father, and there she was trouncing around the ship in all her glory. ” he shook his head and gave vash a look that said tell me I’m wrong. Fact was vash loved the art of seduction she was trained that way and it seem to be a challenged for her, like some game that got her a prize at the end.

“Once they got me to stop the drinking, the crew and I made the Mistress a lot of money” he said. “I recently adopted her, she’s my daughter but that’s a secret ok” he said knowing she had slipped earlier calling him pappa. “So as it turns out, Vash will be buying her freedom. Lohkar and Valiaria thought it best to return you to your people, and have entrusted us to do that, nothing, and I mean nothing will stop us from that goal.” he said

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

Vash winked at him. Dradvia couldn’t see it though. Her gaze returned to the concern, the woman was so broken. How were they going to help her?

Dradvia didn’t want to hear more. She just wanted the man to get it over with. She knew though, tortures like to draw out the anticipation - the terror. Why couldn’t she be numb again? It was his voice, it slipped into her ear and reached the parts of her that wanted to let go, to not listen to anything anymore, not breathe, not live. He kept talking, and she couldn’t ignore his voice.

He hated Star Fleet. They let his family die… Master sent her back to her people. But he knew she had no one. Only Kryssa and Kryssa was dead. She was going to die. She always thought Lokhar would be the one, but she meant nothing to her now, or maybe it was her final punishment. A half garbled sound escaped her lips, her eyes told the terror of it, but it was just a brief moan. Her nails dug so hard into her palms she bled. She didn’t care.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

Eli took her hand and opened it softly, “Non of that now” he said. “You can survive all this” he said cleaning up the wounds she had made.

Her body went tense as he grabbed her hand. She understood he was only hearing her, but her eyes darted around wildly. Lokhar would be very unhappy if he saw another man holding her hand. It didn’t matter why. She tried to pull away, but her body only twitched feebily.

“That’s the point I’m making, its why I keep these” he said taking her now bandaged had he turned about put her hand on his scares just under the shoulder of his shirt. “These remind me where I’ve come through, the hell i had to endure to get to this day. If I had succeed back when Vash and crew found me, I would not have met my daughter. ” he said. “Your scare may be on the inside, and that’s ok, use them, and then don’t look back..” he said holding her hand there letting her feel the layers of callused skin. “My entire back is like this, waist to shoulders.”

Elias “Eli” Trenor
Medic

Under normal circumstances, Dradvia would gave offered to heal them. Under normal circumstances she wouldn’t be a doctor. She would be on Risa making jewelry. Her life wasn’t normal though. She tried to pull her hand away from his grip, buy she couldn’t. When he slid her bandaged palm over the skin of his scars, the dam broke. “NO! NO! PLEASE DON’T!” Dradvia jerked hard enough to wrench her body off the biobed and crumple onto the floor. Her body weak and battered. She curled herself tight against the underside of the biobed shaking.

Wild eyes darted around. He would come, he would and she would be in trouble for that. Her labored panicked breathing filled the space.

Vashkilu, New Arrival

“There you are” he said softly but firm so the tone would catch.”No one is going to hurt you while old Eli is around , your safe with us. ” he said knowing she would not believe it, “Your master released you to us, charged us to take you home” he said and looked at vash, maybe now that she was awake vash could help
