She took the id ranit against the chip. Made a scan of the chip for evidence later if he changed his mind. “Well that is very generous of you Sir, ” she noted handing him his ID and the chip back. “I sent you your incident response number as well as a number you can call if you have questions. Please enjoy the rest of your stay here on Oed” she noted and then went back to the woman and released the other constable. “I got her, thanks” he said
Kosylic went off, no doubt with an exciting tale to tell his spouse.
“Ok Ms, lets get you on your feet” she said helping her up since her hands were cuffed. She walked her quietly back to her car and sat her down on the back seat with the door open so she could sit with her legs on the ground and her shoulder against the seat for support. =^= “Blackwood, request medical team for suspect evaluation” =^= she said opening the trunk, there was some bottled water and some small protein bars. She leaned in. “I’m going to take these off you ok, don’t make me regret it” she said her eyes saying she meant business. She took the cuffs off, handed her the water and the protein bar.
Her request was acknowledged and EMTs were dispatched.
The woman said nothing but nodded a tiny bit. She rolled her wrists and accepted the water and the protein bar. She struggled to open it, but managed andsipped on the water, trying to not guzzle it.
“What’s your name Miss” she asked her while she waited for the medics to arrive.
~Constable Blackwood
It was inevitable. She knew once they scanned her face into the system, the previous misdemeanour would come up. As would the fine. There was no use hiding it from the constable. She sighed. “My name is Stellaris. I’m sure you would have found that out very soon anyway,” she said softly before ripping open the wrapper on the protein bar. It smelled good! Too healthy for her tastes, but good. She hadn’t eaten in four days and once again forced herself to have some restraint. She nibbled on it, but really could have gobbled the whole damn thing in four bites if she had really wanted to. At least she might nt pass out now. That would be even more embrassing than all of this already was.
~Stellaris
“Stellaris” she said, “Thank you” she said scanning her face. Looking over the report, “Well Ms Stellaris, it appears this is number two, you still have 3 days on the fine, but your not allowed to offend in that time.” Blackwood said. “I’m guessing you can’t pay the fine or you would not have tried a lift on that guy.” she really did not want to take her to jail, maybe she would take treatment and could at least have a few nights in the hospital. “I’m likely going to have take you in” she said. “But maybe given your situation the judge will go easy.” she said trying to give the woman some hope.
Stellaris bowed her head and forced back tears. It was all over now. She was done for.
It wasn’t but a handful of minutes before the large medical slider pulled up in front of Blackwood’s vehicle. Two EMTs got out carrying their bags and approached. “You called for an eval?”
Dr. Fayth, DoMSS
She looked at the young woman, “Suspect is mid 30s, malnourished, and I think may be pregnant, she has been sipping on water and nibbling on the protein bar” she said stepping aside, she only hoped the woman would not refuse treatment

The EMTs moved closer and the woman squatted down. “Hi, my name’s Elaine. Would it be alright if I did a quick medical check?”
Dr. Fayth, DoMSS
Stellaris set the water and protein bar to the side and gazed at them warily. A part of her wanted to know how bad things were, but the rest of her already assumed the worst. She really didn’t want them to, but it was another of those inevitable occurrences. At length, she nodded, tucking some of her strawberry-blond hair behind an ear and tried to look less intimidated than she actually was.
“We won’t hurt you, I promise.” The woman smiled as she pulled a tricorder out and rand the scanner over the woman.
A basic scan would show the woman was dehydrated, borderline hypoglycemic, and anemic. She was indeed pregnant, and though she visually appeared perhaps around 16 weeks, her fetus was (while on the smaller side) actually 28 weeks. Especailly given her later stage of pregnancy, her weight should have been quite a bit higher for her size and build, but she was currently weighing 53.5 kgs (~118 lbs). There was plenty of evidence of fatigue and that she had probably not slept well in quite a long time.
There were a couple bruises on her upper back and a scrap beneath her dress from when she had fallen to the ground.

The medic picked up the water and protein bar and handed them to her. “Go ahead and finish that. You’re very dehydrated. You are also showing signs of hypoglycemia and anemia, and you’re underweight. But we can take care of all of that. Will you let us take you to the hospital?”
Did she want to? Not really. But it was probably better than a prison cell. Her hope of staying out of any system had vanished when she was arrested the first time, but “Okay,” Stellaris said softly. She reached for the water and took a bigger sip before returning to the protein bar. She tried hard to look nonchalant as she took a bigger bite than before, her stomach gurgling at the promise of food finally.
The male EMT turned to Blackwood and motioned her a short distance away. “She needs medical care. We need to get her into the ambulance so we can start fluids and treatment. You can ride along or follow us. Assuming she consents.”

As the small amount of food and subsequent sugar got into her system, she felt the baby kick again. It had been awhile, but she honestly hadn’t known how often was even normal. She placed a hand on her small belly and rubbed it. A tiny foot pressed against her palm and tears sprang to her eyes. All she had wanted was to keep the baby safe and look at how that had gone. She was a terrible mother, a failure! The baby would likely be better off wth someone else, she was sure of it.
