Jewel stood outside the commissioners office smoothing her pants, her badge was clipped to her belt her long black cloak shifted as she entered the reception area. Her mind and heart were still spinning from her encounter the roof, she was tired but high on the rush of it all. She had never connected with someone like that before. She had met Karlson a few times, she was not sure he would remember her, but face time was face time. She was not entirely sure what he wanted, special assignment maybe.

She strutted up to the receptionist no sway in her step. She looked down a force non smile on her face. “Inspector Stone, here to see Commissioner Karlson as requested.”
