Joseph raised a hand “That’s as much if not more than I need” He said in a kindly voice, he didn’t put on his grandfatherly voice when speaking with Dasca as she wasn’t that much younger than he. “You’ll need to forward your home’s internal security records as an alibi which will then be confirmed separately” He informed her which was the first indication he’d given of her status as a potential suspect, or as they referred to it A person of interest. “Now can you think of anyone who would wish Mr. Jones harm and I mean him personally, not specifically connected to his work as the ambassador’s aide?”

In the back of her mind, Eela had understood that she needed to be ruled out as a suspect, and that was precisely why she was doing her best to be as cooperative as she could. Others outside of her inner circle really didn’t know just how huge this romance had been for her, and how much solace she had taken from Dash’s presence in her life. How much it hurt that was gone so suddenly, and so violently. She wasn’t worried about her alib though. After all, she was one of the most surveilled persons on the entire planet. She couldn’t step outside her apartment with probably at least half a dozen people knowing. She went nowhere on (or off) Oed without a security presence and Eela Dasca couldn’t hide if she tried.

She blew out a breath and shook her head. “Dash was a kind and compassionate person. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to hurt him. I know there was a bit of a loud exchange with an old friend a couple days ago, but they worked it out and Dash actually helped him. His old acquaintance is doing well right now because of Dash’s actions. If there was anyone, it wasn’t anything I know about.”

Joseph nodded, Pangolins notes had mentioned that exchange, another perspective wouldn’t add much to their view of the case “Could you tell me about what you’ve been doing between now and this morning?”

OOC: This question is because of Dasca visiting the Quill the morning of the murder, if you think Karlson wouldn’t learn about it or wouldn’t hear rumours about it during this time (Which should be late afternoon the day of Jone’s death) Let me know so I can write something else. - Hjortur

OOC: It was pretty early and not many people were around, but I could see him knowing if the police had confirmed her whereabouts this morning (that makes this timeline a little awkward perhaps, but we can go with it). She is also a frequent visitor to the shop/cafe and known to be close friends with the owner.

Eela drew in a slow breath. “I’ve been a few places after I left my apartment this morning. The Quill & Parchment briefly. I met with the Governor after, then went to the Tower to brief our staff on the situation. After that I went to see Mathis at her home and we called Dash’s family. Then I came to where I am now and have been here since. That was still early in the morning. About 0800 hours? This nonsense with this condition has taken over my day when I should be doing my job, but I was reminded that I am not in a good enough condition to make good decisions, so I’m laying low until my scans show I’m improved enough.” She was trying to not look too disgruntled by this fact, but she was tired and it was hard.
