About twenty minutes later, files were sent over. 72 hours was a long time and there was a lot of footage to go through. Also, according to the autopsy it not yet been 12 hours since Jones’ death, but the files were sent over for the period that including this morning as well.

Combing through the footage, there were people coming and going. Jones himself came and went, and Saturday evening (it was Monday morning) he left in a tux, presumably for the gala. All people who went to and from the building either had access to the building as residents, checked in with the security desk, or were security and building staff themselves.

Dashiel Jones left his apartment on Sunday night at 1810 hours and returned early Monday morning. He entered the building at 0231, greeted the officer on duty with a smile, and it was noted that his apartment door was unlocked at 0239. His time of death according to the autopsy was 0246.

Tiberius was looking for anyone who was entering or leaving the Jones residents, no matter if they were allowed or not. He re-reviewed the tapes to verify he did not miss who entered and who left the actual apartment.

There was no visual sign of anyone other than Jones coming and going from his place during the entire time until the wellness check after his death. But there was a brief moment during the surveillance where it was like the footage blinked. Nothing seemed different, but it was like a tiny glitch, so tiny as to be easily missed.

Tiberius had to watch the video a number of times to confirm what he believed was a blink in the footage. He could not believe it the first time he saw it but generally glitches meant something was tampered with. He needed to look at the actual data of the videos to confirm the glitch was a modification and not a simple glitch in the hardware. He had some experience with computer forensics but might need to get with someone from science to help out to confirm the issue. Tiberius went ahead and hit his comm badge and said, “Commander Cattaeno to Commander Keen. I have some video of the Jones’s quarters that I need to have some help on why its seems to have glitched. Is there someone on your team who might be able to help out with this?” He then waited for a response from the Commader.

Tannenn set down the Padd she had been reading and tapped her combadge, “Keen, here, I have some experience with video verification, I am far from as expert however, I can put out a call if you wish to see whom might be a better candidate as I am still learning the other science team names and professions.” she waited for his response with patience though she wanted to help as much as she could she knew that likely since it wasn’t the fore front of her skills she would likely be passing the torch to a more skilled person.

Tiberius though for a second and said, =/\=Why not come yourself and bring along the SME and we can walk through it.=/\= He could use all the help he could get because he thought something fishy was going on with this blip in the video. He was not 100% positive but was pretty sure something occurred being not hardware related.

“Your office or are you elsewhere?” Tannenn asked as she used her left hand to open up a list of science personnel, she glanced at the list and noted that NE Biggs was on duty and have more than one degree in the needed field. “Can be there in roughly ten minutes if that is alright?” as she waited for his response she made ready to contact NE Biggs.

“More eyes on the way, see you then.” Tannenn said and closed her side of the connection to call on NE Biggs, after a brief conversation he agreed to meet Tannenn at the Star Fleet security office in ten minutes time.

Roughly 8 minutes later Tannenn was walking towards Tiberius’ doorway with Biggs jogging up from behind her. She waited until Biggs slowed to walk and gave him time to catch his breath before she rang the chime for Tiberius’ office.

Tiberius knew what Tannenn looked like and was excited to see her again. He knew they would come in shortly but he was still reviewing the video feed again which the blip. He was trying to find why it was modified but he did not have enough previous experience with video modification and knew he would need a subject matter expert to help out with this but he was trying to determine how long the blip was as the screen seemed to have changed but it was hard because not much was going on at the time.

Tannenn rang the chime and once given permission to enter she did so with a smile, “So video verification?” she asked softly as she regarded him, before looking at the displays in front of Tiberius, NE Ensign Biggs followed her in and nodded to Tiberius before he looked at the display as well.

“It looks fine until mark 0145 it looks like it is looping to me.” Tannenn said after looking at the playback, Biggs nodded his head in agreement. “There’s another spot it is repeating as well, at, 0250 it is extremely well done splicing but not completely perfect since we Have spotted it.”

Tiberius looked at Commander Keen and responded, “I am not sure its looping, but it just looks like it skipped over some time. Is this something you or Ensign Biggs would be able to determine an amount of time that was skipped?” He waited for a response to know how to go about finding out what happened.

“I can help but I think Biggs has the most knowledge at this point.” she took a step back to allow Biggs more room at the console and he glanced at Tiberius with a nod, “If there’s one thing you can count on it is us having multiple back ups and back ups of back ups. It is just a matter of tracking them down and finding the unaltered files.” he got started and after a while he whistled softly, “They’re good but yeah give me twenty minutes I should have a clean and full file for you.”

Tannenn gave Tiberius a small smile, “Sorry I wasn’t more help but I will stick around just in case I can still help.”

Tiberius thought for a second, and said, “I would love to have some additional help. You were helpful.” He smiled at Tannenn. He then said again, “Anyone which can help, is ideal and you can stay. We both might learn something.” He then looked over at Ensign Biggs and said, “Are you able to determine how long the ‘blip’ in the video was? ” He wanted to see what a professional could say about the video.

OOC: I would like to see what Linds has to say about the video before we make any assumptions.
