At around 0900 hours, an alert went directly to the Chief of Security. It was very simple: an unknown toxin was flagged during the autopsy of Dashiel Jones and triggered an alert to Starfleet Security as well as the Colonial Intelligence Agency. But in both the latter’s alert, the unknown toxin became identified as being Vren.
