House Duroc Embassy - A Hopefully Not Last Supper

Posted by Civilian Urg’tohn, Son of the House of Duroc (Klingon Warrior) in House Duroc Embassy - A Hopefully Not Last Supper

(snip)

Urg smiled for a few minutes and then it hit him. The problem, the obstacles… and the solution. Oh, Jal’na would be furious with him afterwards, that was certain. And… and it will be a step that she herself had resisted, even if it was done subconsciously. But right now… as the blood rage coursed through her… now was the time to show the House who she could be. He looked at the guard who walked over and leaned into Urg. Urg whispered something and the guards eyes widened slightly, but he nodded.

Five minutes later, there was a knock on Jal’na’s office door. Ru’tehk, the guard who had assaulted Major General Tenkiller, stood outside and waited.

Urg, Lord Duroc

Jal’na swore loudly enough to unsettle Ru’tehk. If it was Kleing again, she might hit the woman. Jal’na really wasn’t angry at her, but the woman would become an easy target. She threw the door open, and glared, “Kesh,” Jal’na vented her disappointment and frustration. But then her eyes lit. What a gift from Urg. She was currently too filled with rage to be angry at being put in this position.

The door swung wide open, and she jerked her head for him to enter. She didn’t bother closing the door. The distruction of the room was utterly impressive and not expected of Lady Jal’na. “Ru’tehk, you behave as if you are just starting jak’tahla. You have dishonored us, and directly disobeyed my order and that of Lord Duroc. TWICE.”

Her hand snaked out grabbed, twisted, and bent counter to purpose his arm, bringing him to his knees. Jal’na was not a fighter, but she was deceptively strong. She had to be, and she had an intimate knowledge of how the body worked. She struck him across the face with the metal gauntlet that Urg had given her.

“When you so blatently ignore our commands, Iquestion your mat-LEH (loyalty) to House Duroc.” She struck him again. “Mev’yap (cease immediately) your duties here on Oed. I will give you one last duty, and if you can perform that, you will be assigned elsewhere. There you can prove if you are worthy to remain in the house that you choose to belong.”

She was seething. She would like nothing more than to tear his eyes out. “You have nearly cost us a valuable ally and friend, and came dangerously close to breaking official relations with Oed V for your childishness.” She shook him. “You will go to the hall, and you will apologize to General Tenkiller, you will tell them how you disobeyed your orders and brought shame to us. Then you will go to the barracks and wait to be sent away. You will speak to no one.”

She applied pressure and torque to his arm and shoved him away, she kicked him in the ribs, just as they had done to Tenkiller. She growled menacingly, “khi-GOSH (let’s go).”

They entered the hall with a loud thud of the massive doors opening. Jal’na radiated anger and menace. She had Ru’tehk by the arm as she Mar he’d him into the room, and then she shoved him toward the table, “Jatlh! (Speak).”

Jal’na, full of bloodlust
