That is to keep things fair, because Hoka and myself could buy this whole planet if we wanted to. But we get compensated in other ways like in taxes or they have to get a permit through us and the like, but to be able to own some of the mines here would greatly advance your stores and our futures.”

“I might need to speak to this Hoka and find out what he knows,” Norb muttered. “Just tell me what I need to do. I’ve already thought about running for Head of Chamber of Commerce, to see if I could grease some wheels politically.”

“That is a fine start. I will back you and we will schedule a meeting with Hoka in two days, here in this office again at this same time. Does that work for you Norb?”

“That sounds wonderful, DaiMon Ress. Thank you,” Norb said, leaping off his seat to shake the man’s hand. “By then, hopefully, my Risans will be in to run the store and we can get you in for an official visit before I host a grand opening event for Oed V.”

“That sounds wonderful Norb. I will see you in a few days.”

Norb bowed rather awkwardly and left the Galaxy Trade Tower with all sorts of plans running through his mind about how he could activate this potential growth.

Once Norb left Zerbo sent Hoka a message about the meeting and Hoka replied saying that he would be there.

IC:
Two days later, in the same suit and carrying a new box for Hoka this time, Norb re-entered the Galaxy Trade Tower like an old pro and confidently walked to the reception.

“I got a meeting with DaiMon Ress, Minister Zerbo and DaiMon Hoka, please,” Norb told the attendant and was ushered to the same elevator and the same office as before. He was struck by the grandness of the size of the room as he stepped out of the elevator again and almost dropped his gift when he heard a noise in front of him.

Zerbo was by the door this time to greet Norb and not one of his aids. “My good Ferengi. Welcome back and before you leave today, My tailor will be up to take your measurements. You need more than one good suit. Free of course. My gift to you. Please come to where we were at a few days ago. Hoka is waiting there for you.”

Hoka saw them coming and got up and went to meet them halfway and put his hand out to shake. “Pleased to finally meet you. Zerbo has said great things about! I am Hoka. I own the Zoo and financed all of the schools here including the University. I just had their business school dedicated with my name on it. It was a great honor. Please sit. Zerbo let me open the bottle that you gave him a few days ago to celebrate our coming together. Please have a drink with us.” After he sat down he raised his glass up in a toast. “To Latnium and to good beginings.” He then took a drink. “Mmmm. Very nice. I will need to purchase some of this as well Norb.”
