“I look forward to it.” Hannah stood, “Thank you Cpt. Cmdr. Fayth I will see you tomorrow morning.” According to the schedule she had been given anyway. Asimina left and headed for the infirmary for that check in.

After she left, Fayth looked at McBride. “I am cautiously happy.”

Jonathan nodded. “Half the battle with personnel on Oed is having people who want to be here. I think she’ll fit in quite nicely. And here’s hoping to fixes some of the strains on your department. Having an excellent second in very useful.” He eyed his desk and the obvious piles of work. “I look forward to knowing what that is like myself,” he said with a lopsided grin.

Sharah nodded. She had a similar problem with piles of work. “I hope you are able to find someone. It seems, at least in Medical, keeping junior officers isn’t a problem, it’s the senior staff. I know I was not prepared for the sheer population size. But she seems happy to be here. So,” Sharah stood, “Is there anything you need from me?”

“I don’t think so,” McBride said. “Like I said to Doctor Asimina, a lot can happen in a week, so you know where to find me if anything comes up, and vice versa. As soon as I get the training mission confirmed, I’ll send out the assignment notice.”

Fayth nodded. She expected as much, but the responsibilities of every department were huge and she didn’t run into McBride on a daily basis like it would be on a ship. So she always made sure to ask. “Then I will get back to it. Have a good day, Cpt.”
