Zerbo sat waiting at his desk in his office tapping his long and sharp fingernails on his desk rapidly when Hoka entered. “There you are! Where have you been? At your zoo?!” He smiled devilishly, showing his razor sharp teeth. Getting out of his chair and approaching Hoka.

Hoka looked confused. “Ho…ho…how did you know?”

“I have been keeping tabs on you because I knew you could not be trusted! And I hear that you are spending vast amounts of Latium without consulting me. Explain yourself!”

Taking in a deep breath he called himself and began. “For one, the Zoo is the right thing to do and it is my Latium, not yours that is making it happen. Two. I can have my own business endeavors here. There is nothing that says that I cannot. Three. I have found a way to not only make us very wealthy but immortal. I have found two business ventures that just one of them alone will make you the Grand Nagus. Just think about it. Grand Nagus Zerbo. It has a very nice ring to it Dai’Mon Ress.”

<”Go on. You have my attention Hoka.”

Taking a gulp of air before he went on. “One is to finance the entire school system here and that means the additional towns, cities and settlements that will come with the second venture. It will be a very expensive startup cost but one we can manage. This will make us…er you immortal. You will have buildings with you name on it that will stand for generations. Even a statue of the great Dai’Mon Ress Zerbo himself in the courtyard as the founding Ferengi.”

“This will solidify your dedication to this colony and it will make it easier to not only get more deals but more profit as well. You will be looked upon as a hero Dai’Mon Ress. I have a meeting with the Director of Education tomorrow to work out the kinks after her meeting with the Governor.”

<”And the second thing. About me being rich beyond my wildest dreams?”

“The second endeavor is to contact a Miss Molly Holloway. She has the contacts to bring thousands of workers here plus more shipping lanes, which is why we are here in the first place. I overheard that the Governor is wanting to get out of the dome and terraform the planet. To do just that they need planetary atmospheric shield generators. We can get those, for a fee of course and that will boost their work. More work equals more beings which equals more profit. With us…I mean you, at the helm of such vast profits, you will be not only the envy of every Ferengi, but you will become the Grand Nagus.” He let that sink in and watched Zerbo.

<His eyes got big as saucer sections and a huge smile crossed his face and he turned towards Hoka slowly. “So you put us in a position to make more Latium then any Ferengi has ever dreamed possible and all it will take is half our bank accounts?” He rubbed his chin in thinking. “Very well. I cannot believe what I am saying, but I will help. You know… for the people.” As an evil grin ran across his fat face.

“Very well Dai’Mon Ress. I will go and make the proper arrangements for a meeting with Miss Holloway and the Building Director.” With that Hoka bowed and left.

Once outside he smiled and thought to himself. “I will soon be rid of that fool and I will be able to be in charge of Ferengi operations here. I will do what is right and help the beings of this world and I will make a lot of Latium in the process.
