I would imagine everyone will have a point where they can or will be involved. Currently, the biggest department outside my own is Construction, for obvious reasons. As we speak the structure of the dome is being built. That’s going to take several weeks, in the very least, though we are talking about speeding up parts of it by bringing in additional workers. Once the dome is built and we can maintain a breathable atmosphere in there, the connector between the two domes will be built. This is probably the most delicate part of the entire project and every small step in that process will be done with great care and consideration. “Sadly I will be off-world by that point, but next time for sure,” Halai said with a genuine smile. She might not like the man, but being social in a less combative space would help her get to know him better and that could only help their working relationship.

Halloway finished glossing over his notes before looking up to reply. “I think that would be a good thing. And by that point we should have two new heads of staff as well to join us. Which brings me to my final piece of information. I’ve received word that we will have a new Head of Construction and a new Head of Police this week. I’ll bring them up to speed and we can have another meeting sometime after their arrival.”
