I need help getting started again for posting any suggestions

My best advice for anyone who has been away, or who has just joined us, is always to read all the threads, even the ones you haven’t posted in. This ship is very slow posting so that really doesn’t take long and you will then be fully up to speed.

Very little has happened since you left. The move to the new website “Exodus” had problems and it took a while for everyone to get here and for the Ark Angel to synch with us. The ‘Boron Particle’ you were helping with was safely transported out to space and destroyed. The ‘ghosts’ were exorcised using some mobile emitters. The Ark Angel crew then went back and the Ark Angel has now left. Bre has had her twins delivered in Sickbay. The Merrimack is now en route to the third planet in this system to discover why it disappears. Kord and Mthunzi are working on subspace torpedo weapons in the shuttle-bay. You have a new boss, she has just been promoted and is with them. You can report to her.

You could also go to the Fantail Lounge and tell everyone stories about the ghosts you experienced in the lower decks. You could report to Sickbay for a physical and give your best wishes to mother and twins.

These are all good suggestions for your pc to do Dave, though hopefully shortly Dave (the co!) will send an away team down, which could use a at the least fyi a medical, engineer, and science guy and a red shirt or two for the LOLz ;)

All in all like Dave said you didnt miss much compared to the Ark Angel side of things. So till he calls for you like i said you can make a post doing simple system work in engineering.

that may be true but when asked for a synopsis or an update. it makes things easier than just waiting or trying to go through more then a months worth of posting
but that’s fine if no one wants to do it then fine.
All i asked was for simple assistance and all i got is go here or there. i have quit sims for lack of interest in their players

But I have just given you a synopsis/update, precisely what you say no one has done for you, and there are already existing posts from Robert that do this in much more detail. I have tried to be helpful in reply to your emails, but I didn’t understand exactly what “information” you needed me to supply to you, because (for the reasons already given to you twice now) you haven’t missed very much at all. I have made suggestions here on how you can get involved once again because it may be some time before the main Sim story requires an engineer again. The ability to self-Sim on this ship is, I’m afraid to say, essential and you will need to find opportunities to get involved without direction. You do now have a Department Head, so they can give you some direction. I make no apology for telling you to read all the posts while you were away - that is what I expect from everyone. I’m very sorry that I can’t understand what more assistance it is that you want from me, but you are now being quite rude to me in public. I think that is totally uncalled for, unfair and most unkind. I certainly can’t be accused of a lack of interest in you, and threatening to leave is really not going to help matters either.

At least you have shown here that you can show some feeling and post with some emotion. My advice would be to add that emotion into your posts here. Not sure either, why you complain of a lack of direction yet also complain that I told you to “go here or there.” Please do one or more of the three things I have suggested - report to your new Chief Engineer in the Shuttlebay, go to the Fantail Lounge and tell everyone stories about the ghosts you experienced in the lower decks, report to Sickbay for a physical and give your best wishes to mother and twins.

David, your new CE is in the Shuttlebay. I have told you this already, very clearly! This is a very slow-posting ship. If you make a new different thread instead in Engineering as you just have, she ought to see it and respond quickly, but she is new and still finding her feet on the Merrimack, and I would not be at all surprised if she missed it. Of course, I could respond to you myself instead with some non-rostered character, as you might remember that I did once before when you were left posting to yourself, but considering your attitude to me and your abject failure to follow any of my instructions, I just don’t feel like it today. You could also go to Sickbay and talk with Marthese. Marthese is on STF most every day, so you won’t then have to wait for days for a reply. However, if you still don’t follow my advice, don’t complain that the problem is somehow with me or with anyone else.

I have posted and i dont appreciatew you continuing to complain to me for not doing what you asked me to do. As soon as i can fingure out what to do with the rest of the post i will post.
