Sickbay- Alt sim Medical Evaluation

Posted by Lieutenant Thalos ch’Ravik (Chief Of Security) in Sickbay- Alt sim Medical Evaluation
After leaving the shuttle bay shortly after arriving aboard, accompanied briefly by the XO, Thalos made his way toward the nearest turbolift. He paused only long enough to place his hand against the control panel.

“Deck five.”

The turbolift doors slid shut, and the familiar hum of the car filled the space as it ascended from Deck Thirteen. Thalos stood motionless during the ride, hands clasped behind his back, antennae angled slightly forward as he mentally reviewed ship layouts and duty rosters he had already memorized. The transition from the open chill of Andoria to the regulated atmosphere of a Starfleet vessel always took a moment to settle—but discipline made it routine.

Moments later, the doors parted onto Deck Five.

He stepped out without hesitation and proceeded down the corridor, boots striking the deck plating with measured precision. The doors to sickbay parted as he approached, revealing the sterile, softly lit interior beyond.

Thalos entered, his sharp silver eyes immediately sweeping the room. Biobeds stood ready, monitors idling quietly, and the air carried the faint, unmistakable scent of antiseptic. He noted who was present and who was not, antennae subtly adjusting as his instincts catalogued the environment.

He was only here because regulations required it—every new arrival underwent a full medical evaluation before being cleared for duty. A formality, in his mind. Years of Imperial Guard training and continued Starfleet conditioning had left him in excellent health.

Still, regulations were regulations.

Thalos came to a halt just inside, posture straight, expression calm and patient, prepared to endure the process so he could finally begin his duties aboard the USS Merrimack.
