After the conference was over, Max had not yet fully introduced himself to the executive officer as of yet. He stood by the door of the conference room until he saw Commander
Sanks exit the conference room. He then said to Commander Sanks, “Commander, may I have a word with you for a few minutes? I do not believe I have fully introduced myself to you as of yet.” He then waited to see how the commander responded.

“We did jump into the mission pretty quickly, I haven’t been able to meet the whole crew like I wanted. We have a few minutes, I’d love a proper introduction.” Lt Cmdr. Sanks responded. “My office is right over here, if you would like something to drink or eat while we chat?” He asked pointing at his office door.
