After returning to the Merri from his meeting on DS K-5 with Commodore Stone, Captain Glen had had a short meeting with his new XO in his Ready Room. The Commodore had already sent mission briefing notes to the Merrimack which the new Comms officer, Stella, had collated and informed Glen.

The Captain was keen to get going quickly. =/\= Lt. Gagnon. Please recall all remaining crew from DS K-5 back to the ship. Announce a meeting of senior staff in Conference Room-B in an hour at 1300 hours. Thank you. =/\= Before they left for Ardan V he wished to brief all the senior officers about the new mission to that planet. Glen asked his Yeoman, Faith Hopkins, to organise Conference Room-A for this purpose. The previous briefing in his Ready Room having been somewhat of a debacle.

He arrived at the Conference Room about twenty minutes early so that he could review the material sent by Stone first. He took a coffee from the dispenser and sat down at the head of the table.

Upon perusal of the information packet the Captain would see aspects for Science, Security and Engineering which he would be able to distribute to the team.
