Max made it to engineering and could hear the warp core start up as the ship entered warp. He looked over at his station and saw they were going warp 6. He was keeping and eye on the warp core as he had the team make a tweak at the efficiency of the plasma flow into the warp core. He noticed it had worked and it did increase the proficiency. He had not much more to do and it had been a long night. He went into his office and said to the computer, “Please block out the lights in the windows and lock the office door please.” He needed to get some more sleep before the shift started and did not think it was worth wasting the time to leave engineering and then would have to come back. He then went to sleep.

Max was curious about this request but he knew the name and knew it was important to keep things on a positive note. He then hit the comm section of his station and said, =/\=Lt Mullins here. I will be up in a few minutes to check on your door. =/\= He was trying to get some shut eye in but of course, when stuff hit the fan, it never stopped. He would just try and sneak out early if possible during the flight to the colony and get some shut eye. He then tapped on his station again and looked at where the captain was she he went to the correct location

Lt Mullins then saw the captain was in the Captain’s ready room and looked over to Ensign Black, “Ensign Black, are you able to head up to the Captain’s ready room to take a look at the door please? Thank you.” He then want back to working on the reports he was working on with the increase of the power to the sensors and what he was doing to help out with finding the folks on Unity.

Max continued to monitor the sensor output from his additional increase of roughly 10%. Looking at the instrument panel, he was unsure of how much longer he could provide this push without causing issues to other systems. He went ahead and hit the comm section of the panel and said, =/\=Lt Mullins to the Bridge. I am not sure how much longer I can provide the additional power to sensors before it starts effecting essential systems. Were you able to obtain the additional data which was required?=/\= Max continued to monitor the panel for the sensor power and how it was draining the power and did not want to kill the additional power to the sensors without someone acknowledging him in order to not interrupt anything which might be going on.

=/\= Yes, thank you, Lt. Also the probes made contact with someone we are going to rescue and bring abroad. He should provide us with far more information than the sensors could, so you may reduce the additional sensor power back to normal parameters. =/\= the Captain replied from the Bridge.

Max had responded to the captain and then he started to do the needful to set the sensors back to the normal value. He was glad he was able to help out and not cause any problems with any of the systems. He continued to monitor what was occurring on the bridge via listening. He wanted to be aware but needed to keep an eye on things down in engineering. He was very tired, it had been a very long day and he did not get a nap. He was hoping once the planet was investigated, he could sneak in a nap.

It had been quiet for a few minutes after setting the sensors back to the normal operations. He looked over at NE Barcola and said, “I am going to try and sneak an office nap in. If I am needed for an emergency, feel free to bother me but if its something simple, just take care of it.” He then turned and walked back to his office. When he arrived to his office, he was barely able to keep his eyes open. He sat down and hit the communications area on his station, “Computer, Please turn off the lights and change the walls to opaque. Set an alarm for an hour from now. Route any non-emergency communication over to NE Barcola who is sitting at the main console in engineering. I would like a little peace and quite if possible for that hour” He then nodded off to sleep hoping he could get his full hour in.
