[snip]Max hit the message button on the communication portion of the wall and responded, =/\=Understood. It was just very unexpected so I wanted to confirm things were not going to hell quickly. Lt Mullins over.=/\= Max was happy nothing major was going on but would have liked to finish his scans and getting all the information over to the citizens of the planet. Max walked over to hit office and sat down. He began writing up his report. He wanted to make sure everything which was discovered was communicated correctly and what information about the delithium was understood by both parties about the help being provided and what was being given in return. He believed his trip was successful but not complete due to the early beam out. He hoped with everything going on, if the other portion of the away mission went successful, that things between the people on the planet and Starfleet.

With Max back in main engineering, NE Barley came up to him. “..Sir while you were gone we ran some basic diagnostics, make sure everything was in order since the Captain likes to run a tight ship. Everything came back in the green, except on deck 3, section 12. Food locker 1 containment came back with an error on the food stabilization sensors. I was about to send someone to go check on it when you came back. Food locker 1 mainly houses the emergency ship’s rations for the senior officers just so you know. Lockers 2 and 3 nearby though came back in the green.” he said.

Max looked over at Ensign Barley, “Thank you for the update. Having someone go down to deck 3, section 12, is just fine. Having the emergency rations is extremely important, no matter when it is.” He then went over and sat at a desk and wanted to look at the shields and engines. Having those working above minimum specs was always important. He started the diagnostics on the shields and engines from his main desk. He just wanted to do a double check. He always needed to finish up his reports.

”..Understood sir!” Barley said.
Mullins was over the next ten minutes able to find that the shields were operating just fine, no anomalies detected. Then there was a knock on the office frame and Ne Barley came back with his head poking in, “..Uh sir? NE Stacey is calling up from deck 3, seems she’s having some trouble isolating the error for the sensor. Direct connection seems fine, as do the relays and all leading to and from it but the diagnostics still show and error. Mind lending a hand?” He asked.
OOC: aka hint hint :P
GM CockRoach
OOC: Whoops, totally missed this.
Max then replied to NE Barely, “I can head up there and take a look. Can you run a quick diagnostic from here and then relay the information up to Deck 3 after I arrive there please?” Max then stood up and walked to where the location of the NE was calling from to see what would be able to help with. It took a few minutes to get there after walking and riding in the turbolift. When he arrived, he made sure and announce his present to not scare the NE. He said as he was walking up, “Hi Ensign Stacey. What sort of things are you seeing having already performed to attempt to fix the issue? I know you indicated there was an error but having some background might help what is going on and how to go about fixing it? Have you replaced anything at this point?” Since he had not been involved in the repair, he was not aware of everything going on, which as a department head, he did not know what all had been performed. He was also hoping to hear from NE Barely would provide some diagnostic when he arrived at the location.
