[snip]Saelk had changed his mind and boarded onto the shuttle as well. He looked to any personnel left. “The shuttle will be making a return trip to come get anyone left.” He said before he went and found himself a place to sit. There was at least one other science officer able to find passage. Saelk’s face didn’t betray much but there was much on the Vulcans mind. “We are ready to return.” He said to the pilot.
As the shuttle took off, and yawed sharply to the right to avoid the hill that the landing party had first stood on. There was a ‘chinking’ sound of sample bottles touching. Guy got up and checked over the the cargo containers, making sure that every strap was tightened, and firmly attached to the cargo module. Then he nervously sat back down again. He now had an extremely bad feeling about this flight, and he rather wished that he had stayed behind. What could possibly go wrong? he thought to himself.
As Guy and the shuttle got back to orbit to where the Merrimack was they could see off to port still some distance away but closing slowly the large comet that had been warped in from the system’s edge not long ago. With a beep the hanger doors opened for the shuttle to land, so far everything seemed ok with their shipment and crew.....
The blood, water and soil samples were unpacked and sent off to the science laboratories for a more detailed analysis than could be achieved on the planet surface. Guy, relieved to be back aboard the Merrimack reported to the most senior security officer present.

Salek’s face looked grim. “Make sure the samples get to the labs…” His eyes turn to the scientists. “Begin a full spectrum analasys on the blood and water. I will come down to the labs shortly to assist. For now I am going to the bridge to gather what is going on.” He said before he swiftly turned and quickly headded to the turbolift.
