USS Merrimack
Main Sim - Mine

[snip]Max double-checked his tricorder to make sure he relayed the correct information. Max verified he was somewhat alone and it seemed no one could see/hear him. But he wanted to be somewhat quiet to not alarm anyone with his response. He then hit his comm badge and said =/\=Lt Mullins here. The first two levels are pretty safe but the third is not so hot. I would like to write up a report on what can be done with their tech in order to help out. This will help improve the mines as they are now and what can be done to help moving forwards. In regards to the sun crystals, they are what we believe they are and they are half decent. They expect the masters to come back to get the crystals but I don’t think they will in the end. I think it might be in Star-fleets best interest, especially to help with the relations between our two people. I am not 100% sure on how to go about it but it might be something which can be worked over time. I am going to be relaying some data up to the rest of my engineering team to help come up with a safety plan. Is there anything else you need me to look at while I am down here? =/\=. He then looked around to see if anyone was paying attention or seemed to have heard his report. He was confident that no one did and was waiting on a response from the captain.
Captain Glen replied, =/\= Thanks for the update. I look forward to the full report. I’m in the middle of talking to the Elder Council here, just waiting for them to discuss something and to reply, so I will catch up with you later. Take care if you are thinking of going underground. =/\=
Max then responded to the Captain =/\=I will provide a full report when we get back to the ship. I am going to do some reports down here in order to provide some support on making everything safer down here. Mullins out.=/\= Max then continued to write up his report for the natives, very basic technology to match what they have, on the items they need to do to help better secure the lower levels of the mine. He did not want to seem cocky and not provide technology they were not aware of yet. He was curious what the captain was going to do about all this dilthium and how he was going to address it with the Council. There had to be some way to make this in favor of Star-fleet and help make the relations better. He then completed his report and looked around to see what else he might be missing.
=/\= Very good. Glen Out =/\= Glen put away his communicator as it appeared that the Priestess would speak to him again.
Looking through things, the only real thing he had missed was trying to fix some of the junked machinery the Klingons had left behind. He could take a stab at fixing that up if he wanted since it seemed despite their primitive culture before the Klingons over the past 50 some years they did know hte basics on how to use it and maintain it up till the Klingons left here recently.
Max and his engineering team would have time to begin to fix some of the junked machinery, but they wouldn’t finish, because after about thirty minutes they would all be Transported back to the Merrimack without warning.

OOC: I totally forgot to post and I apologize. I am going to get this now and will mark better time. It has been a little busy with everything going on. I will be posting shortly on the transporter room thread.
