USS Merrimack
Security Out side sick bay (Alpha Team)
Lance and his Alpha Team arrived outside of sick bay. Lance pressed his com =A= Lance to Sharp are you in the security room. Go to the consul and put in turbo lift security over ride D-99847. After the program runs this level will be locked only medical in and out the turbo lifts will not open on this level unless you open the doors for them or it is a medical officer =A= Lance was hoping the sharp will not mess this up.
He turned to his team “ok guys Delta formation spread out throughout the hallways I want to in front of sick bay doors at all times” his team moved fast.
Guy Fleegman took his place outside the Sickbay doors. They hadn’t really been briefed on the problem inside Sickbay, but as no one is to leave it must be something dangerous and deadly. Calm down, it’s been hundreds of days since the last redshirt died, he thought.
“Why the hell don’t we just pump some anaesthetic gas in there?” Guy asked NE Fodder. “These doors aren’t going to keep whatever it is in there!”
A couple of meters away was Hunter with both arms on his hips ‘’Very funny guys .....your job is not to let anyone out or in without the orders of the Chief Medical officer .Anyone who needs sickbay direct them to the gym which has been turned into a sickbay for anyone with minor injuries .The doors shall be closed as we don’t want anything escaping ‘’ he was about to close the doors when Hunter asked ‘’Did your D’H order for the ship to be disinfected?’‘.
*Not that it mattered with the air ventilation on * the doctor thought.
“No, we’ve not been told to disinfect anything,” Guy replied, “But then we get told nothing. Give us a break, will you? Just tell us… What is it in there that might be ‘escaping’? My partner here, he doesn’t even get a forename. He is literally just NE Crewman Fodder! We have a good idea how this ends!”
After Doctor Hunter returned inside, the Alpha Team just exchanged glances.
A short time later Dr. Cross opened the doors and came out looking furious with the rest of the world. Guy was both worried, and also felt slightly foolish, about confronting her, but this was his job and he had been given strict orders by the COS. “I’m sorry Ma’am,” Fleegman said, ” but no one is allowed in or out of Sickbay except on your orders. Are you ordering me to let you past?” NE Fodder just sniggered.
