After speaking with Cmdr Milligan, Max finished looking over the documentation on his station and stood up. He decided it was time to go get his physical completed since he had not since he arrived to the Merrimack. He then walked out of main engineering and headed towards sickbay. After a few minutes of walking and riding on the turbolift, all while keeping an eye around as he walked to see if he saw anything in the need of repair or a check, he arrived at sickbay. He straightened his uniform before walking in. He then proceeded to enter sickbay. He took a quick look around and sat down on an empty table and waited for a doctor to provide the required physical.

The nursing officer approached him ‘’Hello I’m nurse Kate ‘’she said in a cheerful manner and extended a hand .From his uniform Kate knew it was the new CE . ‘’ Sir, I would presume you are here for your medical if so do please follow me’’ the nurse took him to a quieter spot in sickbay next to a biobed ‘’Make yourself comfortable while I get Cross ‘’.

She took a few steps before turning around ‘’Oh Cross is the CMO ‘’since the Lt Cmdr was relatively new Jane provided some information before walking briskly away to Cross’s office.

It took a few minutes for Cross to appear ‘’Lt Cmdr Mullins ‘’ the female doctor addressed him with a nod ‘’I’m doctor Cross ,do relax on the biobed this won’t take long..em is there anything I should know before hand? ‘’ she asked while attaching the diagnostic wand to the medical tricoder to start scanning.

Max replied, “No ma’am. I’m feeling pretty good and working out has always helped keep me on my toes and I pretty much just eat chicken/turkey/fish and vegetables to help keep a healthy diet.” Max then just waited for a response. He was excited to get started but knew this was a normal process when getting assigned and arriving to a new position.

Cross looked him up and down ‘’Yes it shows’’ she commented with a genuine smile on her face.

OOC: Does the scan pick anything up?.

OOC: As far I know, nothing is picked up.

She took a couple of minutes to read the scan ‘’ It seems you passed with flying colors Lt ‘’ the female doctor verified while offered her hand to assist him in getting up from the biobed .

Max saw the doctor’s hand go out and went ahead and reached for it. He did not need the assistance but did not want to appear not grateful for the help.

‘’One last thing ,drop the Ma’am I hate it’’ the female doctor confessed ‘’Just Cross ....Oh and welcome home ‘’ she told Mullins with sincerity.

Max thought for a second in order to figure out the best way to respond to sound respectful and professional and responded, “I forget some folks are not use to the term. I will remember the next time I speak to you, Lieutenant.” Max hoped this had not seemed offensive. Being an engineer, he was better working with mechanical and electrical things rather than people. He was not proficient with communication. He did not want to offend the lieutenant with his response.

OOC: Must remember to post the correct rank for each account. I wish somewhere other than the fleet page and the master roster my rank was posted. Like when I was making a post, it was somewhere. But oh well.
