Cross made her way to sickbay leaving the Cmdr still sleeping on the chair ,somehow she felt different as if the load that she had been carrying on her shoulders finally disappeared ,the female doctor felt unusual refreshing, as if she was transformed and her demeanor improved.

Entering her office Cross smiled at Hunter ‘’How was the night shift?’’ she asked making her way to get some coffee ‘’Uneventful’’ the male doctor replied .Hunter saw the change in Cross ‘’You’re quiet chirpy and energetic this morning ‘’ he commented. The doctor bend down and whispered in his ear ‘’ Finally another chapter in my life has been closed’‘.
