A few minutes later, Lovejoy spoke, “..Admiral Jowls from Exploration Command is on hold relayed by deep space K-5 sir.” she said.

On the screen a mid-50s aged human Admiral came up on the screen, his appearance seemed much to match his namesake with having deep set jowl cheeks. =/\=..Hello Captain Glen? DS K-5 said your hail back here to HQ was of a high priority one nature, what seems to be the problem?=/\= He asked.

=/\= Good Morning Admiral. I’m pleased to report that we have made First Contact with three new races since leaving DS K-5, Sir. We first met the Alstaireans, who had been sending out messages that we followed back to source. They are a long-lived race but turned down joining the Federation at the present time. Then we travelled to a Habitat in orbit of a planet, which was the source of the “cuckoo child” carried by the Alstairean ship. They are keen to join the Federation and my CE has remained behind with them as an interim ambassador to learn more. We have also met with a friendly trading race called the Sybyl who are short and furry, but haven’t really got to know them yet. We will now be returning to Alstair to return the child we mistakenly brought with us. =/\=

=/\= My problem is with this Psychiatrist, Doctor Wong, who has been posted here with orders as some kind of Ship’s Counsellor. He is disrupting the entire ship and this is actually decreasing crew morale and efficiency, rather than improving it. I am well aware that as a result of some of our previous secret missions, some of my crew do have issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, loss and relationship difficulties that are affecting their ability to manage life, however, I already have medical staff fully able to deal with these issues and there were already programmes in place to resolve them. Rather than helping them bring about effective change and enhance their wellbeing, as would be expected from a Counsellor, the effect of Wong’s presence has been the polar opposite. This could quite easily have resulted in a failed First Contact with one of these new races, and none of us wish to see another Bolay incident! So, with all due respect, I’d like to formally request your assistance that Doctor Wong is recalled from the Merrimack, Sir! =/\=
