The science lab hummed with the sounds of machinery and the light banter of officers running experiments. It reminded one of any science lab from the high tech ones of a starship to that of a high school lab. Lieutenant Commander Federik Fereth moved about the space like a python locked on a prey. His eyes flitted around the room as his body deftly moved around tables, chairs, people, and anything in his path to David Michaels.
