Subject: Annual Physical – Let’s Make It Easy

Commander,

It’s that time again—annual physical. I’d like to get you in tomorrow morning at 0830. We’ll start with the standard baseline scans and work our way through the checklist. Unless you’ve been experimenting with new ways to test inertial dampeners from inside the engine room, it should take no more than twenty minutes.

No lectures, no lectures disguised as friendly conversation—just clear data and a clean bill of health if you’ve earned it.

Admittedly Dagen had missed this in his mail, buried amongst a myriad of other notices. When he saw it later in the evening he laughed. He had seen more doctors in his, and Thor’s tenure than Commander Edelu would have had opportunity for. He replied back with a touch to confirm the appointment.

And .. at 8:28 Dagen arrived at Sickbay.

Having seen him prior, Dagen had no trouble picking him out from the other staff present, few as there were at the time in the main area. “Doctor,” he said, realizing he could have several heads turn at that intro.
