Sharah spent an extra shift, every day, for two weeks in the arboretum. Ensign Mayweaterh and Specialist Carson were as passionate about the project as she was. She was grateful for their help. The work in redesigning and restoring Europa’s arboretum went fast. At the end of the two weeks Sharah was ready to have Lt. Marsh come down and see the results.

Several crew members had come in and picked out things to do from the volunteer list. Moving props and landscaping elements. Fayth, Mayweather, and Carson had worked first replanting plants that wouldn’t stay. Those had been set out for members of the crew to take back to their quarters. Several had even gone to the mess hall and 9 Froward. Then they began moving the walking paths around. Then they had to move the actual soil beds to correspond to the new layout. It wasn’t hard, the floor of the arboretum was made to be versatile, but it was labor and time intensive. The volunteer list went back up at that point. Landscaping features and props went back out. After the beds had been moved around, and the landscaping done, the plants could be settled back into the soil. Fayth did most of this herself. The hardest part was the butterfly garden. She had to get engineering to come down and help her erect the mesh enclosure so the butterflies wouldn’t escape.

The succulent garden was the most delicate. They didn’t take to being potted and then replanted in the soil well. It took Fayth, Mayweather, and Carson 4 days to make sure the small plants took to their new home. But in the end it was the one she was most proud of. The small succulents were thriving in the new soil bed that had been made for them. And there was even a small miniature theater that the crew could use for small gatherings or performances. Fayth had even created a small flower bed for her medicinal plants project and there were a couple of empty beds towards the back for other officers to use for their own personal projects. Overall Sharah was very proud of how it had come out. And per Lt. Marsh’s request, there were lots of secluded spots around the arboretum. Fayth intended to have Trenton try them out and see how covert they were. To let Trenton, one see if she could find them all, and two to see if anyone could find her while she was there. She could use some of her parkour skills to slink from one to the next.

At the end of the two weeks, Sharah sent a message to Lt. Marsh, letting him know it was finished and inviting him to come and see the final result.
