=/\=Zorell to Abrams.=/\=
The noise buzzed in her head, cutting through the currently dreamless portion of the nap she was very much enjoying. Her trained instincts pushed awareness forward and forced herself to be awake and acknowledge the voice of her friend. =/\=Abrams here. What’s up?=/\=
=/\=Cass… we got a ping. We’re ten minutes out.=/\=
She sat up abruptly, undoubtedly waking Steven if he wasn’t already. Her heart was racing and she reached out to grip his arm, almost in need of the reassurance that she was in fact awake.
=/\=Cass?=/\=
Cassidy swallowed and threw the blanket off of her. =/\=We’re on our way. Abrams out,=/\= the security officer replied hurriedly.
Slipping out of bed, she was beside herself with confusion. “I need a shower! And we never got to eat the stew you so kindly got for me. And my hair! Uggh!” She had been running on fumes for the last few days that the sudden adrenaline in her body was making her frantic and she moved haphazardly, uncertain what to do first.

Marsh snorted and just slid into his clothes. He ran a hand through his hair and almost made it look neat with a single pass. “You can shower and brush, but I’m heading to the bridge.”
Marsh
OOC: Sorry about the quick post. I responded to the bridge first and had to make this post consistent with him coming up quickly.
Cassidy just stood there for a moment, confused. “Okay,” she said, before turning to Steven and reaching for his hand. “Tell me it’s going to be alright,” she said firmly, her eyes desperate. She absolutely knew the opposite could very well be true, but she needed to hear the words.
Ensign Abrams, Security
“We are going to be fine… We are going to find out the truth, rescue what’s rescue-able, and the rest we’ll figure out from there.” He held her hand for a moment and squeezed. “We are moments from knowing, no point in continuing to guess.”
Marsh.
