Sometimes you did things because they were needed, sometimes because they were right, and sometimes they were just a good idea. Luckily to one Range, Jericho NMI this one seemed to be all of the above. He rarely interacted with the rest of the senior crew anyway. Outside of his evaluations, duty time, and other obligations he was just a private person, which lived in his own world of issues. He had been trying to change that recently, that however had little bearing on the conversation he needed to have with the Captain. Nor did Range really feel he needed to have it with Captain Dvoark, but Johann Dvoark on the other hand might need it.

=^=Commander Range to Captain Dvoark, if you have a moment to spare Sir=^= Range said over the comms, it was still polite to start with business before personal.

Range nearly laughed at the Captain’s response. At least the man was available to have the conversation. Range stood from his desk as he responded and began to walk to towards the destination that he had in mind.

When the Captain arrived Range was waiting for him, the program already started. Delaney had become a refuge of sorts for the security chief he was glad that the former security officer had not removed the program.

“Oh,” Johann commented upon walking through the holodeck doors and finding himself in this program once again. It had been a few years since he and Isabel Delaney had shared an evening drinking whiskey here. That was pretty awkward, he thought as he remembered the somewhat uncomfortable tension between the two of them.

“You’re a fan of her family’s whiskey also?”
