Justin paced nervously back and forwards as the shuttlecraft came in to land. He loved meeting new people but he was worried about making a good impression. Ki’Jalla gently put a hand on his shoulder to stop his pacing. “Ta’ka, at the waterfall of Bal’nar…” he said with a smile. Justin nodded and took a deep breath. As Ki’Jalla approached the shuttle, Aaliyah nudged Justin playfully on the shoulder. “Relax for goodness sake, we’re supposed to be portraying the calm, serene atmosphere of Evagen and you look like a gazelle on steroids!” she giggled as they went to join their leader.

As the team stepped out onto the deck, Ki’Jalla threw his arms open to welcome them. “Alkar! At the Great Temple! His legs weak, his mouth dry…”

Justin quickly scuttled to his side to translate. “Ki’Jalla welcomes you all to Evagen, you must be tired from your trip, please, let us offer you a drink,” he smiled as a host of waiters appeared holding an impressive array of drinks.

“Don’t mind if I do.” Aaron said, accepting one of the offered drinks. He needed to keep a mostly-straight head, but hey, a XO can indulge once in a while. He nodded to the others that it was alright to drink.

At the presentation of drinks, Falz happily picked one up. He knew he probably shouldn’t, but what was the harm? It was one drink and they were here to have a good time. With a crooked smile on his face he happily took a big gulp of the liquid before remembering where he was. “Thank you,” he grinned, “That should quench my thirst for a while,”

Michael took a drink. He imagined so long as he stayed sober, all would be well. And there was no mention of these drinks being alcoholic to begin with. Though they had played poker with their shuttle pilot, so surprises were few and far between.
