Mother Hen (GM)
“Transporter and forcefields around a biobed should do the trick,” Harry said, “Although last time I operated the transporter the entire team arrived… upside down.”
-Harry
“Well. Let’s get the transporter chief to do it, just to be safe.”
Ensign Bob wriggled around a bit more and squeaked. “Please hurry, I can’t feel my arm!!” He pleaded, his body now doing some deranged version of the worm.
Mother Hen (GM)
“It’s OK, Bob, your arm is still attached,” Harry said, “It’s not going anywhere without the rest of you.”
=/\=Lt Jameson to transporter room 1. I need a short range site to site. Lock onto Ensign… Bob, transport him directly to biobed 1. On my signal.=/\= “Computer. If Ensign Bob enters the vicinity of biobed 1, activate a level 2 force field around the same biobed.” Learning from how today was going, he said “Computer. Repeat and confirm last order.” There was a pause. “If Ensign Bob enters the area of biobed 1, then isolate sickbay.” Michael sighed. “Only isolate biobed 1 on Bob’s arrival.” =/\=Transport now.=/\=

Bob gasped as the transporter beam enveloped him and he finally stopped flailing around. He immediately materialised on the biobed in front of them and to everyone’s astonishment the forcefield activated instantaneously.
Bob whimpered as he saw the blood dripping from his arm and promptly fainted at the sight.
Mother Hen (GM)
“Well that was easier than I thought,” Harry said and started to tend to Bob’s wound.
“Thanks for your help. I’ll just sort this out whilst he’s in a less resitant state of mind and then get your boarding evaluation sorted,” the red haired doctor said to the new CE.
-Harry
Bob mumbled something about what was for dinner as he fell into a deep sleep and calm was restored.
Mother Hen (GM)
“Is it always like this? I haven’t even been to my quarters yet and there’s already been one of the most absurd emergencies I’ve ever seen. He was about to try to do my boarding physical, then he started acting like a nutter, then you showed up and… well. You saw the rest.”
-Lt(j.g.) Michael Jameson, CE
Harry’s own experience since graduating the Academy and joining the Constellation had been one of encountering people with what he had assumed was various stages of space madness - starting with the man who had been the consellor at the time.
“You should be grateful he ONLY wanted to play doctor with you,” Harry replied, “Isn’t every ship like this?”
-Harry
Michael was momentarily short for words. “…No. There are, in fact, ships that do not have lunatic Ensigns, whose surnames are unknown, and who dive into air shafts at the first sign of doctors. My last assignment, we just went about our duties, did missions for Starfleet as ordered with little to no lunacy. Though I must say, Ensign Bob has broken the tension of this transfer quite nicely.”
-Lt(j.g.) Michael Jameson, CE
“Oh,” Harry replied genuinely surprised at the answer, “Well in that case you should be in for some fun..”
“Now before I begin, do you have any allergies that I need to be aware of?” he asked Jameson as he finished treating Bob’s injury.
-Harry
“I’m allergic to strawberries but I imagine that doesn’t much concern you. So, no. Proceed as planned.” With whatever oddity will happen next.
