Michael arrived in sickbay, more nervous ticks than man. “Ummm. Michael Jameson, Chief Engineer. Reporting for boarding physical.” If anyone heard him, they scarcely showed any sign. Then again, he had been speaking at something akin to a whisper. He scratched the back of his head, tugged at his collar, loosening and dropping one of his rank pips. He quickly reaffixed it before approaching the nearest medical uniform, not checking who was in it. “Um. I’m Chief Engineer, the new Michael Jameson. Or Michael Jameson, new Chief Engineer.” Someone, please put me out of my misery. he thought.

OOC: Hi Sam, great to have you with us!

IC: Nurse Kylie sighed and turned around, twiddling her hair and chewing gum. “You what?” she asked rudely as she peered at him. “You want one of those exam thingies right?” she peered over at Gong’da who was still working on the young Klingon and she couldn’t see Harry anywhere so she sighed and shrugged her shoulders. “I dunno, the docs do all that fancy stuff…I expect one will be over eventually…” she sighed and wandered aimlessly off to the other side of sickbay where she stood staring at a blank screen pretending to work.

Having just awoken from his concussion, Ensign Bob was feeling pretty chipper. As he came to he noticed a lost looking chap stood nervously in the middle of the room so he decided since he had done such a stellar job helping with the young Klingon earlier, he figured he should probably help out a bit more whilst he was on a roll. He picked up what looked like a medical tricorder and strolled over to Lt Jameson with a dashing smile. “Ah, welcome Lt, here for a physical are you?” he asked brightly.

“Yes. Um, just boarding the ship. You know how it is, procedure and all.” At this point Michael’s inner monologue chimed in Great conversation. Really stellar. Can’t talk to anything that isn’t a hypospanner.
