“The Symbiosis Commission are very particular about who get’s to host, and they’re not known for being the most open minded group on Trill. I guess the symbiote want to see life from a different perspective,” Harry replied. He paused briefly, realising how what he had said may be mis-understood, “Not from a… Physical… sense ofcourse.”

Ridge laughed heartily, “One would think that, but let’s say in emergencies exceptions are made. And Parvenu thinks its is a funny change, now that we had bonded. He was for Seperation at the trial.” Ridge winked, “He changed his mind when it was clear he wouldn’t get immediate rejoining, Short life better than pool life” Ridge opined, “Or I assume that drove the decision, Still learning each others secrets after 10 years it seems.”

“I never thought of it like that,” Harry said as he adjusted his scanner to focus on the symbiote’s readings rather than the host’s He looked at the display unit to check everything was as it should be.

Ridge smiled, “Few do, it can be just as selfless or selfish as anyone else. Luckily for I am not,I have our best interests at heart always.” The symbiote and the small trill both seemed to be the picture of health for what they were. The little trill did show the signs of his disease, and the symbiote the signs of age. Both had been around the block a few times. The only other standout was the condition of the small trills liver it showed signs he was indeed a drinker of some report.

The only recommendation that I am going to make is that you speak with the quartermaster to ensure that your quarters are suitably sized and also that a workplace assesment be completed and consoles adjusted for you,” Harry said as he turned off the tricorder satisfied with the readings.

Ridge avoided rolling his eyes, but his face barely controlled the slight embarrassment at the stated recommendation, or perhaps it was consternation, or agitation, it could have been all three maybe.

“Very well doc I will see to that.” Ridge responded sliding down, and then turning to drop the rest of the way off the bio bed to the ground. Seriously the quartermaster to have his consoles adjusted, appropriate quarters, well that might be something.

“Actually Doc can you put the special needs quarters note in my file. I can acquaint them with my needs just wanted it recorded as medically needed.
