After her medical checkup, Katherine Pierce sent her daughter to start moving into their new quarters, while she made her way towards the Counselor’s office. Naturally, she got slightly lost, but after a quick sidetrip to Decks 13, 31, and Tijuana, she finally approached the counselor’s office, margarita in her hands.

“¡Hola! Anyone home?” she asked, tapping on the door.

Ashley was stood by the window reading something on a padd when heard the knock on the door. She turned to face them and gave a smile. “Yes, Please come in.” She noted the drink in the woman’s hand and gave a questioning look before making her way over to her none standard chair behind her desk using her black cane.

Pierce took a sip of her drink as she entered, giggling a little. “Oh, nice place! I think I was supposed to talk to someone about something inside my head? It’s kinda weird actually because I everyone mostly tells me I don’t got nothing in there but I’m pretty sure I do cause when I put a flashlight to this ear almost no light comes out the other side, right? Anyway, it isn’t rattling around in there so it’s probably stuck in there pretty tight, but it don’t seem to be causing no harm anyway!” She took a gasping breath, having exhausted her previous one, and plopped her little rump in a chair. “Did you know that Mexico has a border with Engineering?”

Ashley sat back in her chair and crossed her arms. She didn’t say anything just watched the woman deciding if this was a bad joke of if this woman was truly like this. If that was the case Ashley would have to give it a long hard look to see if this woman was fit for duty. Something that she would hate to do knowing full well that if she declared her unfit on mental grounds it could damage this woman’s career.

After a few seconds she decided to give her a chance. Ashley unfolded her arms and sat forward in her chair looking right at the woman before her. “Now why don’t we start with your name?” She said in a calm but cold tone showing she was in no mood for games.

Katherine squinted a little. “My name? Oh, sorry, I should totally have introduced myself. Lieutenant Katherine F. Pierce, but I usually go by Kat or Katty.” Her legs slowly kicked a bit, not quite reaching the ground from her seated position. “I’m sorry, I didn’t catch yours.”

Ashley made a note on a padd to remind her to look up the persons record when she had time, then looked back at Katherine. “I am Lt Farchild, but please call me Ash here.”

Ashley looked over at the glass with Katherine. “So Kat may I ask what the occasion is? Or is this the normal way you check in the Councillor?”
